Our arrival to the village was a bit difficult and we might have been a tad grumpy after having to climb up 20minutes vertically from the bus stop to the hotel with our 2 heavy suitcases, but immediately upon arrival our mood took a 360 shift. The owner was super friendly and told us that he even tried to reach us to pick us up by car but couldn’t due to our international number. We then got a room upgrade and he showed us where we can head out to see the first sights. We originally planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up loving our stay so much that we stayed an extra evening. We had a very nice European breakfast on the hotel’s beautiful view and made friends with the local cat. All the hikes and cultural experiences around were amazing, we especially liked the Dazhai-Ping’an hike, with so many amazing sights and views along the road. Was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days in our 3 week trip in south China. At the end of our stay the owner drove us down to the bus. We would absolutely love to come back and spend a full week here in any other season.

Relatively cheap accommodation with window/balcony facing karst mountain, and just 100m from the Li River. Some nice Thai themed embellishments decorate the rooms. Bed is only a small 'double' and has one useable powerpoint near bed right side + light controls. Aircon works well (only small room so to be expected). Overall, OK for 100 RMB per night, but does have a few issues. Booked the 'special promotion' room. Trip.com indicates a room size of 12m square metres, which is incorrect. I measured it at 9.5 square, including the bathroom. If including the small balcony (2.5 sq m), the total room area is 12m best case. Only large enough for single occupancy, with small amount of luggage. Two people would need to climb over eachother to move around. No where near enough space for two - luggage would need to be kept outside on the balcony! Hot water works but is not properly calibrated. Either boiling hot or freezing cold. Extremely difficult to find the right temperature to shower with any comfort. I put full hot, and waited. Water got super hot after 40 seconds. Adjusted to reduce by setting at middle between hot/cold, but water temperature remained super hot. Then pushed to full cold. Water temperature transitioned to cold 29 seconds later. Then put back to middle position but water remained dead cold. Tested this both ways for at least 4 minutes each and remained either scolding hot or freezing cold!! Hotel provides signs to indicate desire to 'please clean room' and I hang this on outer door handle for two days, but to no avail So can only assume the owners don't provide this service. This establishment is only rated as a 2 star hotel, and given the low price point, you really can't complain - on the condition that the tariff is low. Acceptable for 100 -120 RMB per night. Unacceptable for much more than this though.

This place is very beautiful. But I think if you stay here for more than 3 days it's not worth it. There's nothing you can do. Just to rest is okay. But this hotel is good, the rooms are very big and clean. I'm very satisfied. BTW we are Muslims, there is no halal restaurant here 😂

Xishihuashe is een comfortabel hotel en elke kamer heeft zijn eigen unieke design! De hygiëne is goed en de omgeving is rustig in de hangmat zitten en buiten het raam naar het prachtige landschap kijken is erg ontspannend! Het wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen om te gaan bamboeraften op de Yulong-rivier, een tram te huren om de Shili Gallery te bezoeken, het Xingping Ancient Town Observation Deck te bezoeken voor 20 yuan, en naar Yitian West Street te gaan om biervis te eten!

We kozen dit huisdiervriendelijke hotel als onze eerste stop tijdens onze roadtrip naar Yangshuo met onze hond. De omgeving was uitstekend, zeer ruim en het personeel was ongelooflijk behulpzaam. Ze hebben zelfs een nachtje op onze hond gepast. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het eten in het hotel was ook uitzonderlijk goed. Al met al was het een zeer aangenaam verblijf. Ik zou dit hotel zeker weer kiezen als ik de volgende keer naar Yangshuo kom. Het is erg gezellig en gastvrij. Huisdiereigenaren die met huisdieren reizen, zouden dit zeker moeten overwegen.

After a long day of exploring, the hot shower was a lifesaver, and I appreciated that they provided complete toiletries—one less thing to worry about packing! Now, for the highlight of my stay: the guy at the reception. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly went above and beyond to help me. One evening, he even sat down with me over a cup of tea and helped me plan my itineraries, offering fantastic local tips. He arranged carpooling services for me, which made getting to the various sights so much easier and more affordable. My entire stay in Yangshuo was smoother and more enjoyable because of him. That guy is 1000% great! Kudos to him and to the hotel for having such a fantastic employee. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Dit hotel was absoluut fantastisch! Het was over het algemeen ongelooflijk schoon en de kamers waren gloednieuw en onberispelijk ingericht, wat zorgde voor een zeer comfortabel verblijf. De lift maakte het gemakkelijk om de verdiepingen op en neer te gaan, en het personeel was hartelijk, attent en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was goed en ik was zeer tevreden. De grootste verrassing was het observatiedek boven; het uitzicht was geweldig, het landschap was prachtig en je kon zelfs gratis foto's maken - elke foto zag eruit als een meesterwerk. Het enige kleine minpuntje was een lichte geur in de badkamer, maar dat deed niets af aan de algehele ervaring. De receptie bood zelfs attent rijstnoedels aan bij vertrek - zo attent! Ik was zeer tevreden over mijn verblijf en zou het zeker aanbevelen!

Allereerst is er beneden een online celebrity restaurant. Het eten is heerlijk en gasten hoeven niet in de rij te staan. Er zijn ook arrangementen met korting. Na drie dagen te hebben verbleven, heb ik verschillende maaltijden gegeten en moet ik het lekker vinden! Grote waarde voor uw geld! De locatie is ook erg goed. Het is rustig aan de rand van het voetgangersgebied. Het uitzicht vanuit het raam is ook erg mooi. Er is een balkon buiten waar je kleding kunt wassen en drogen. Dit is vooral belangrijk in de zomer! Mijn tante ruimt de kamer elke dag regelmatig op en is erg ijverig. De enige mogelijke vlieg in de zalf is dat de badkamer van de homestay een beetje klein is en dat het niet erg handig is om af te wassen. Bovendien wonen we op de bovenste verdieping, die een beetje vochtig is en er zijn wat meer insecten in de kamer. Over het algemeen ben ik redelijk tevreden, de accommodatiekosten zijn niet duur, het is het geld waard
