"Omdat ik met mijn tienerkinderen reisde, was de kamer in de stad groot en ruim. De eenpersoonskamer met tweepersoonsbed zou krap zijn geweest voor twee personen. We hadden twee kamers, een tweepersoonskamer voor drie personen en een tweepersoonskamer voor eenpersoonsgebruik. De accommodatie is gloednieuw met een mooie onsen op de bovenste verdieping en fantastische wasmachines voor 600 yen per wasbeurt. Ontbijt was inbegrepen. Fijn dat ze bij aankomst één gratis tapbiertje per persoon aanbieden. Geweldige locatie om naartoe te lopen voor fietsverhuur."

"The hotel and staff were friendly and the hotel itself was good, but there are problems with the website that lists the hotel! First, the hotel name, "Kaji Hotel Nukui Shimanami," is incorrect. The correct name is "COZY Hotel Nukui Shimanami." It doesn't say that the rooms don't have a toilet, bath, or sink. I think it should be stated upfront if they're missing. The fact that amenities other than toothbrushes are extra is also not shown on the website, and I only found out at check-in. I might use the hotel again in the future, but I will not book through this website again. I've also deleted the app."

"All rooms are said to have ocean views, but room 305 doesn’t have an ocean view… The sea can be seen in the distance from the bathroom??? Is it because I used Trip to stay a little cheaper? I was very disappointed with the view that felt like a small room. The sauna glass is not clean, so the view from the sauna is not very good... Nevertheless, I was impressed by the staff's consideration and kindness and the way they did their best to give even 10 stars less. It was a very happy trip, especially thanks to the staff who said Nepal was their hometown."
