The location is perfect for a city stay. The room was big, bright, clean and had a very nice view. The pool area on the roof was even better! The staff there were very friendly, with a great knowledge of the area and local services. Some of the nicest staff I’ve met in a hotel ☺️

This hotel is the most affordable hotel I stayed in Hue. Not only is the price cheap, but the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom has wet and dry separation, and the location is also very good. There are bars and various coffee shops and snack bars next to it. There is a free breakfast in the morning, and the breakfast is cooked for everyone on the spot by the hotel staff. A very good hotel, worth recommending, and will definitely stay here again next time.

Location is good, not to mention. You can walk to the Hue Palace and walk to the Walking Street. The hotel itself is very kind and easy to understand for travelers There was a sign that I would lend a toilet. I've been traveling by motorcycle from Ho Chi Minh to Hue and have stayed at many hotels so far, but I saw the sign for the first time. The receptionist lady is very kind, delicious restaurant They will tell you street food, sightseeing places, etc. The care of the hotel staff was as good as a 5-star hotel. I would like to use it if I come to Hue again.

Don't be confused by the low price, this hotel is excellent value for money. We stayed in a deluxe room at the Hong Thien Ruby Hotel for two nights in January 2023. The hotel is centrally located, in a popular quarter of Huê with numerous bars and cafes, but set back in a small side street, so it is quiet at night. We could sleep very well even with the windows open. The rooms have older furniture, but everything is in good shape. The rooms offer decent facilities with air conditioning, fan, hairdryer, safe and fridge. There is also soap, toothbrush and a small shower gel. The best thing, however, is the lovely and very helpful English-speaking hostess, who gave us advice and organised our onward journey by bus. You notice right away that she runs this hotel with a lot of love and commitment.

Beautiful gardens, relaxing and serene . Suite was very comfortable with the best pillows I have ever had . Wonderful service from all staff ,particularly Harry ho. Friendly helpful and professional. But the complimentary massage from the spa was exquisite. A wide selection of different foods for breakfast . I miss my pressed coffee - the only downside to the whole experience

The average cleanliness in Vietnam, but the pillows are a bit dirty. The staff is very friendly and tells us a lot. The staff can speak English. The young boy can't speak English, but he is very friendly and helpful and answers questions politely through the translation app. You will be greeted with a wonderful smile. You will also leave your luggage. There are no cheap restaurants around that you can enjoy the local atmosphere, but it's no problem in a few days. There are many laundry nearby. Laundry in the back alley is cheaper. 1kg17000-25000VND. When buying water, convenience stores are cheaper than the surrounding shops, and credit cards are also available, so it is recommended. There are many coffee shops within 1 km, so you should stop by on the way to the Royal Palace. 20000-45000VND.

If you read about Hue, you’ll think it’s a centre of traditional culture and heritage in the central region of Vietnam. In reality, whenever I am walking the streets in Hue, unless I am literally arm in arm with my wife, I am approached and followed by oily parasitic men offering *********, special massage and ‘lady boom boom’. Flora hotel is in the centre of Hue, in an area intent on emulating the sleaziness of HCMC’s Pham Ngu Lau district. All beer and cocktail happy hours, music pumped so loud that conversation is difficult, and massage parlours galore. The hotel is a typical Vietnamese building, thin and tall with paper thin walls and tiny, cramped rooms. We stayed at the very top, supposedly the best room in the place, but there is barely room to walk around the bed. It smells damp and musty, the fridge vibrates so loudly that you can’t sleep if it’s on, and the elevator bell is set to ‘extra loud’ and goes ‘ding dong’ every 30 seconds 24 hours a day. From the constant noise and unending activity, I guess all the other guests are running in and out of the hotel to buy ********* and get some lady boom boom, having a great time. In my own experience, staying here has been a nightmare. There was a baby screaming through the paper thin walls all one night and reception are happy to let people check in and make as much noise as they want arriving at 4 or 5 in the morning. What I continue to be astounded by when it comes to hotels and homestays and resorts is how little they seem to care about providing what most guests are actually paying for. I’m primarily staying at a hotel to get a good night’s sleep so why do hotels do so little to ensure they are quiet at night? Why is there a need for a loud bell on an elevator at all? Why are doors constructed so that they have to be loudly pulled shut against the jamb? Why doesn’t reception ask late returners to please be quiet and why don’t late night and early morning staff use the stairs if the elevator makes so much noise? And on a related topic, why is breakfast provided at an unhelpful time for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday? Breakfast is nearly always from 7am to 9am in Vietnam which might be fine for tour groups visiting 5 cities in 4 days, but it is completely unreasonable for the more leisurely traveller. The answer to these questions is, of course, that Vietnam is focusing, post covid, on attracting block-booking tour groups because it is low investment, high yield.

This place is amazing !!!! Value wise unbelievable!! We’re here with twin 9 year olds and 13 year old - we have a room that has three queen size beds a beautiful bathroom with shower - TV if you wish to stay in - and in the heart of what seems to be streets of local restaurants and little shops. Lots say to stay on the other side of the river but we disagree. The service of the staff here is better than a 5 star hotel, attentive, welcoming, super friendly. You can get your laundry done or you can go find your own place. For a Hostel I’m lost for words - should be a hotel - has a lift - my wife has arthritis so very helpful. Breakfast is included, YES, breakfast of fried eggs, espresso or tea, fruit etc Honestly shocked at how great this place is. I can’t say anything but “Amazing Amazing Amazing” Do yourself a favour and stay here - you’ll love it !!
