Mueang Krabi District Hostels

Ik heb nog nooit eerder in zo'n jeugdherberg verbleven en ik wilde het graag eens proberen. Er zaten twaalf mensen op één kamer. De sanitaire voorzieningen waren oké, maar in- en uitstappen en naar het toilet gaan was lastig, waardoor ik een heel eind moest lopen. Ik ga er zeker niet meer verblijven. Ik kreeg het bovenste bed toegewezen, wat erg lastig was om in en uit te stappen, en ik was bang om anderen te storen. Bovendien ligt dit hotel erg centraal, niet aan de straat, dus je moet nog steeds een behoorlijke afstand lopen om uit eten te gaan. Als je op zoek bent naar een jeugdherberg, kijk dan eens in de buurt. Er zijn er veel, en ik denk dat ze allemaal een prettige omgeving hebben. Je hoeft niet per se voor deze te kiezen.

HThe hostel is truly great. First of all, it’s very conveniently located—just a couple of minutes from the embankment, the night market, Walking Street, and public transportation. At the same time, it sits in a quiet courtyard, so you can enjoy peace and rest. Another big plus is that right next door you’ll find a currency exchange, a laundry, and a motorbike rental—everything you might need is literally a few steps away. Inside, everything feels cozy. I especially liked the beds—you really feel like you’re in your own private space. The hostel provides showers, toilets, shower gel, and toilet paper. There’s also a common area where you can eat, drink coffee, or play board games. The staff are attentive and very friendly, which made my stay even more pleasant. The only small drawback is that the beach isn’t right next door, but it’s easy to reach—just 60 baht by songthaew. I didn’t mind trading a beachfront hostel for this one, because here I felt calm and comfortable. I stayed for more than 10 days in total. Of course, neighbors vary, but that’s not something the hostel can control. Thank you for the hospitality! If I return to Krabi, I’ll definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I had such a great stay at this hostel! It has everything you could want: a bar, a small swimming pool, a cozy lobby with plenty of seating, and even a rooftop gym with a nice view. Breakfast is served from 7–11 am, which was the perfect way to start the day. The staff are super friendly and really make you feel at home. I originally booked just two nights but ended up extending my stay to a full week. The lobby and pool area were also great spots to get some work done. Plus, the location is fantastic—just a few blocks from the night markets where you can find all kinds of delicious food at very affordable prices. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Krabi. Highly recommend!

I thought the place was lovely, great location, big rooms and helpfull staff. My only real critique is the room I was initally given looked a bit empty compared to the pictures. It only had 1 bed side table, no lamps etc. I actually moved to a different room which felt much nicer, and 2 bedside tables, a lamp (which didn't seem to work, but still) and an extra chair. There seemed to be some noise from generators or something. But easily solved with earbuds.

Прекрасное место. Мы были проездом и решили остановиться в Краби, жилья на Трипе свободного почти не было, но вот этот вариант и схватили, ничего особого не ждали, а номер оказался очень даже комфортный для отдыха. Кровати, чайник, холодильник, чистый санузел, отличный напор в душе, горячая вода без перебоев, еще и балкон. Внизу кафе и вечерние посиделки, красота повсюду, много кошечек и душевной атмосферы. Буквально в нескольких метрах 7/11 и улица откуда уезжать до пляжа Ао Нанг на тук туке за 60 бат (возле белого храма через дорогу, там увидите) Спасибо за чудесные дни ❤️🙏

Top sociaal hostel. Extreem goedkoop om hier te verblijven, direct aan de strook van het strand en alle bars en restaurants. Pooltafels, beer pong, kroegentochten, deze plek is het ultieme feesthostel, een echte aanrader als je hier bent om te feesten en nieuwe mensen wilt ontmoeten!

The hostel is well located and bed is super comfortable. I hadn’t had this good night of sleep for a while. The showers were also very clean. The only thing I can point out as a better service was that they out me on the 3rd floor and my bag was super heavy (I’ve been travelling for a while) and they didn’t offer to help me with luggage up the 3 floors which was extremely challenging carrying 26kg with me

Het hotel is gunstig gelegen, op 10-15 minuten van de pier en het strand, een rustige en vredige plek. Het is zijn geld waard; als je alleen van plan bent om te overnachten en het eiland te verkennen, is het zeker het overwegen waard. Een minpuntje was dat we problemen hadden met het doorspoelen van het toilet – het spoelde niet altijd door en maakte vaak lawaai. De kamer was over het algemeen lawaaierig door de waterleidingen en de airconditioning, maar overdag was het niet al te storend en oordopjes zijn prima als het 's avonds wel storend is. Een pluspunt is dat de prijs en het snelle internet perfect geschikt zijn voor werken op afstand.

The dorm room had a private bathroom that was always clean, which i loved. The hostel is very calm and definitely not party so u can have your good night sleep. The only problem was the bed, the mattress was lower on a side than the other but still okey. The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the pier. And we had our lockers and they provided us with a lock as well.

Very dirty room, the curtains are all stained, the floors are not washed. There is no partition/curtain in the shower, so everything is flooded with water, and there are also no shelves in the bathroom (taking a shower was very inconvenient and disgusting) The bed linen has stains and holes (we hope that the stains just haven’t been washed out..) The mattress is uncomfortable. The location is good (but we didn’t find it right away, Google maps doesn’t build the route correctly) There is a slight climb up the steps. The view from the room is wonderful! Beach towels were issued upon request at the reception, water also had to be asked each time (the room was not replenished) Cleaning upon request (but in fact only bed linen is replaced) There is a kettle, but to boil it you need to use the outlet near the bed. It’s better to walk along the coast to Long Beach, it takes about 30-40 minutes (do not follow the route Google Maps builds - it leads through the mountain)
