Bangkok Hostels

Het hotelmanagement is redelijk, het bedienend personeel is vriendelijk en ze zullen je helpen relevante zaken te regelen. De kamer is schoon en netjes, en ik heb geweldige huisgenoten ontmoet. Ik kom de volgende keer terug!

The hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

Ik ben hier na een jaar weer teruggekomen! De kamer en gedeelde badkamer zijn superschoon. De bedden zijn erg comfortabel. Slechts een paar minuten lopen naar het MRT-station Sutthisan. Het personeel bij de receptie is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Persoonlijk ben ik dol op de eetgelegenheden in de buurt, zoals Khao Soi, Mala en Thais eten. Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug! 😃

Perfect stay at this Hostel. I stayed in a private double room which was very spacious and clean. The price of 900THB per night is completely fair and valid. The staff made it easy to extend my stay here and were always very helpful. They also have great amenities like laundry and a kitchen. One thing on the downside is that the doors are not sound proof at all and you can here if your neighbor closes their door. Thanks for having me, i'll come back soon!

Очень хороший отель, отличное местоположение, до торговых центров можно дойти пешком. Рядом 7-eleven. Комната просторная, кровать удобная, воду и туалетные принадлежности приносили каждый день. Сервис на высшем уровне. При выезде вещи можно оставить в комнате хранения багажа. Рядом с отелем также есть небольшой рынок с уличной едой. Вообщем, отель классный, всем рекомендую!

Voordelen: In het steegje naast warenhuis T21 zijn er 7-11 en verschillende voetmassagesalons voor NT $ 350 bij de ingang. De locatie is erg handig. 2 minuten lopen. De hospita is erg aardig. Ze zet gratis bananen en koffie in de woonkamer op de eerste verdieping. Ze kocht zelfs gefrituurde deegstengels op de t****e dag van ons verblijf. De airconditioning is geweldig. Nadelen: Je mag binnen geen schoenen dragen. Hun toilet en douche zijn samen en er is geen gordijn om het te blokkeren. Dit betekent dat de vloer nat kan zijn als ik naar het toilet moet Weet je hoe de vorige persoon de vloer heeft gemaakt? Er zijn twee of drie badkamers gecombineerd en de badkamer en het toilet op de bovenste verdieping zijn gescheiden. Er is geen kleine koelkast in de kamer en de lichten zijn een beetje niet helder genoeg. Het is acceptabel voor een klein persoon die alleen reist in 201.

Merry V Guesthouse is located in the 'extension' street of Khao San Road. Good location. It's very, very basic. Just a small room with a bed. The bed is hard and the pillow was very hard. When I requested at the reception to provide me a softer pillow, it was refused. In the room there are many big open windows (there is no glass, just mosquito gaze) on the upper part, which are not covered by curtains (see photo) and light/might disturb you. The Thai ******* in the next room was inconsiderate and unrespectful. Talking as lot and music from mobile. It's not the hotel's fault, because the put signs everywhere 'don't make noise, others are sleeping'. But it was overall OK. A private room for a small amount of money. Thanks! 🙏

Algemene ervaring: Dit hotel is een prima optie, vooral als je even wilt ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad. De kamer op het dak die ik had geboekt was ongelooflijk ruim en gezellig, perfect voor een ontspannen avond, zelfs toen het regende. De locatie is een beetje lastig, met geen parkeergelegenheid en een smal steegje naar de ingang, maar het is de moeite waard vanwege de rust en stilte. Het hoogtepunt was absoluut de kamer op het dak. Het voelde zo open en comfortabel aan. De openluchtbadkamer is echter misschien niet voor iedereen weggelegd, vooral niet voor mensen die verlegen zijn. Voor mij was het helemaal prima. Houd er wel rekening mee dat er geen lift is, en als je op de 6e verdieping zit zoals ik, wees dan voorbereid op een flinke klim! Het is een goed idee om snacks en drankjes mee te nemen om niet te vaak op en neer te hoeven lopen. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer op de bovenste verdieping was werkelijk fantastisch. Het was een geweldige beloning na de klim. haha! P.s. Ik zou dit hotel aanraden aan iedereen die een unieke en rustige ervaring wil en het niet erg vindt om een ​​beetje te klimmen om bij de kamer te komen. Het uitzicht en de kamer op het dakterras zijn fantastisch. :)

The room was clean, and the reception staff were kind. I liked this hostel, so I extended my stay for another two nights. However, on the day before I checked out, a housekeeper threw away my clothes that I had hung on my bed frame to dry. She said she assumed I had already checked out because there was no bag around. (However, I had kept my luggage in the locker throughout my entire four-night stay.) The hostel should verify whether a guest has actually checked out before removing their belongings. Even if something had been left behind after check-out, they should have been kept in a lost-and-found box for at least a few days instead of being thrown away soon.

I recently stayed at Ploy Hostel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hostel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to access local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bed was cozy with fresh linens, and the room had adequate storage for luggage. The hostel also provided air conditioning and Wi-Fi, both of which worked well. The bathrooms were shared but well-maintained, with hot water available at all times, which was very convenient. One of the highlights of Ploy Hostel is its communal areas. The lounge and kitchen spaces are spacious, allowing guests to relax, cook meals, and socialize. I met other travelers there, which made my stay more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is friendly and welcoming, perfect for solo travelers or small groups. While the hostel is budget-friendly, it doesn’t compromise on comfort or cleanliness. The only minor downside was occasional noise from neighboring rooms, but this is understandable in a hostel setting. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Ploy Hostel to anyone looking for affordable, clean, and centrally located accommodation. It offers a warm and social environment, making it ideal for travelers who want both convenience and a chance to meet new people. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
