Chengdu Hostels

Dit hostel heeft zoveel voordelen: 1. De receptionist was ontzettend behulpzaam. Nog voordat ik de receptie binnenkwam, kwam hij al naar buiten om me te helpen met mijn bagage. Dit is veel beter dan in veel andere hostels; dit soort service vind je alleen in vijfsterrenhotels! Hij begeleidde me zelfs naar mijn kamer en legde de faciliteiten en huisregels uit – zo attent! 2. Er is een speciale, 24-uurs bewaakte bagageruimte en een grote draagtas die gasten in hun kamer kunnen gebruiken. Dit is waarschijnlijk om het probleem op te lossen dat je geen koffers mee de kamer in mag nemen, en biedt elke gast een opbergtas. Deze tassen kunnen in de kluisjes met elektronische sloten op de kamer worden geplaatst. 3. De toiletten, douches en gangen waren brandschoon en geurloos. De gang had zelfs een aangename geur – geen overheersende kunstmatige geur, maar een heerlijk aroma! 4. De föhn bij de wastafel was uitstekend, hetzelfde type dat ik thuis gebruik. Deze aandacht voor detail overtreft die van veel hostels en zelfs sommige Ji Hotel-hotels! 5. De kamer was ruim met een grote kluis, een zacht en comfortabel matras en smetteloos beddengoed. De vloer was ongelooflijk schoon (dit is het voordeel van geen schoenen mee de kamer in nemen!). Ik was verbaasd over hoe schoon de vloer was! 6. De wasmachine en droger waren handig geplaatst met een aparte ruimte om kleding te drogen. Er waren gratis wegwerp-tandpasta en -tandenborstels, evenals extra grote wegwerp-badhanddoeken. 7. Het hostel zelf is prachtig! Ik zag de mooie architectuur al voordat ik incheckte, met de naam van het hostel prominent in beeld. Het ontwerp is geweldig! Het balkon heeft veel zitjes en tafels met een sterke stijl die doet denken aan Zuid-Frankrijk. Het balkon en de omliggende hoogbouw creëren een prachtig, trapsgewijs architectonisch effect. De grootste pluspunten van het hostel zijn: ongelooflijk vriendelijk personeel, een schoon en esthetisch aantrekkelijk ontwerp, uitstekende faciliteiten en een indrukwekkend interieur en exterieur! 8. De hoteleigenaar heeft een hoog esthetisch gevoel en hoge standaarden!

老闆是走南闖北的老驢，網評還有一手好廚藝，臨時住一晚，沒想到一個人包場，小店位置優越，灌縣古城，藍眼淚，都江堰景區都近在咫尺，導航到店不太行，老闆寫的酒店亮點更可靠，青旅類似學生宿舍，具體條件大家參考圖片，如果出行有什麼不確定的，不妨請教老闆，謝謝入住期間老闆給的出行建議，也祝老闆生意興隆

De locatie is zeer goed, zeer dicht bij lijn 3 en lijn 1. Het appartementencomplex is oud en het adres op Ctrip is niet veranderd. Gelukkig belde de baas mij snel om te vertellen dat het adres was gewijzigd naar een ander gebouw. Gelukkig was ik de enige die die dag incheckte, en ik was opgetogen. De omgeving lijkt bijna op een gewone studentenflat. De baas zorgt voor oordopjes als deze dicht bij de straat ligt. Deze locatie in de stad is minder dan 100 yuan waard. En de baas heeft veel leuke boeken en katten🥺🥺🥺 zijn heel schattig, maar je moet de deur sluiten, anders spelen ze met je. Lees boeken + huisdieren + blijf en verdien veel geld ~ Als ik de kans heb, wil ik graag de katten komen bekijken🥺🥺🥺

Het is veel kleiner dan ik had verwacht. Er is slechts één toilet en één urinoir voor jongens, en twee doucheruimtes. Bovendien is de ruimte in de badkamer klein en is het soms moeilijk te ventileren, waardoor er een onaangename geur ontstaat. De accommodatie is prima, alles aanwezig. Er zijn altijd mensen in de lobby aan het kaarten, maar het is een beetje gesloten. Het zijn allemaal mensen die elkaar kennen. Mensen met een sociale fobie die E van binnen en I van buiten zijn, zijn wat bang om dichterbij te komen. Er heerst in het huis een gebrek aan een open, sociale sfeer die nieuwe bewoners een warm, prettig en op hun gemak zou kunnen stellen. (Ook: De meisjes zijn op de t****e verdieping. Als ik naar boven ga om kleren te wassen, merk ik dat de algehele omgeving voor meisjes veel beter is dan die voor jongens!

(For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

Het was mijn eerste keer in een jeugdherberg, maar deze keer had ik er een heel goed gevoel over. De omgeving was schoon en hygiënisch, de bedden waren groter dan ik had verwacht, er was elke dag een tante die de kamer schoonmaakte en voor elke gast verschoonde, de airconditioning was gratis, er was 24 uur per dag warm water, toiletartikelen werden ook gratis verstrekt, er waren ook regelmatig spelletjes en activiteiten, en er was een schattig katje.

De locatie is heel goed, vlak naast de Wenshu-tempel. Het is dichtbij de metro en de bushalte. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het bed is comfortabel, de kamer is netjes en alles is schoon.

時間長老舊的狀態。基本的設施功能有，比如 ✓洗手間（每天會有清理）、 ✓晾衣服（7樓 樓梯 女生朝南房間有個小陽台可以晾 再上面樓頂天台晾曬床單）、 ✓做飯（可能樓頂天台）， ✓新洗的床單套（床墊舒適度🉑） 其他更多的可能要諮詢下。樓梯無電梯。

At fhe first, I could bot find the hotel, but I talked to the owner and she was so kind and promptly videocalled me and gave me instructions how to get to the hotel which is near to the bus station. The location of the hotel is very convenient, nearby you have a park, many restaurants, pharmacy, bus station. The hotel has some local people many of them were very friendly to me, we shared the food and sit next to each other for some time and talked in chinese. The owner of the hotel can speak English and she will give the clients the best service, she is really outspoken, caring and kind. The bathroom is public, you can share it with others, you can wash your clothes and then hang it. I enjoyed my staying, it is like a dormitory, you have your own bed, but you share the room with the others as the same gender as you.

Het hostel is niet slecht, het meisje bij de receptie is vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel is dat mensen in de lobby mogen roken en dat de sigarettenrook daardoor in de kamers terechtkomt. Er is een kamer met grote ramen waar ze mogen roken, maar dat doen ze in de kamers en het hostel STINKT naar sigarettengeur. Het zou fijn zijn als de kussens vervangen zouden worden, want ze zijn te geel van het kwijl van alle reizigers die er al jaren verblijven.
