"I stayed at the lodge pre and post my climb up Kilimanjaro, I found the rooms to of adequate size and the beds were very comfortable. Food was sometimes a bit hit and miss however I did eat off the a la carte menu on one occasion and the food was excellent. All the staff are very friendly and attend to all your needs. I had a full massage on the day I left, a little pricy but skillfully done. All said, the lodge is a comfortable to use as a base."

"had issues with the room & electricity power shut down twice when i was in the toilet. This was frustrating especially after a long day of travel! We couldn’t charge our phones or use hairdryers as it might trip the power. Showers had low pressure & little heat so be prepared. I found that the pillowcase and towel were had stains on it. Owner is nice but as a bed and breakfast spot cleanliness should be maintained."

"We stayed here our first and last 3 nights of our trip and after being away for a week, it felt like returning home. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and are very accommodating, even leading us on walks to the local village and answering all of our questions. Rooms are basic and wifi better at the lodge, but it completely met my needs. The pool was refreshing after a long flight and a lovely place to hang out at the end of the day. Beautiful grounds."
