De locatie is uitstekend. Het is een comfortabele plek om te verblijven, waar je ook bent. Het is 's ochtends vroeg een beetje lawaaiig, maar niet zo erg dat het storend is. Het is schoon en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend.

Ik vond mijn kamer echt heel leuk! Ik had vooral geluk met het uitzicht vanaf het balkon. De locatie is prachtig. Je kunt zo naar de zee lopen en de straat met alle kledingwinkels ligt op slechts 5 minuten afstand.

This is our 1st time having such a bad experience stay. We were asked via WhatsApp to provide our personal passport info and to pay hotel tax via a payment link in the WhatsApp, it was received well in advance before our check-in. We found this way is very unusual, and due to uncertainty whether the message was from the property , we declined to pay the tax upfront. Then the so-called property staff claimed we disrespect them. I found absurd as we have fully paid our accommodation and told them will fully pay the tax upon check-in, of which it was a small amount as compared to the total 3 nights stay rate. After checked in, we found only one toilet roll is given without any tissue. So we requested for an extra, and becoz the weather was warm, we asked for a thin bedsheet instead of a given duvet. The property staff said need to charge us £50 simply for a thin pc of bedsheet!! We found this is ridiculous and giving us an extra toilet roll, they were unhappy. What is the cost of a toilet roll as compared to the high rate stay of this property as compared to nearby accommodation? They gave us an under expectation unit, with no view (see photo) , which is so much difference from the advertised photo. They objected to change room for us even though we told them the safe deposit box is spoilt on the day after checking in. Goodness was that they wanted us to clear the trash bins to bring it to ground floor on our last day ! I havn’t encountered this at all even in dome AirBnB units. We asked for Trash bags as their bin has not bag, the property staff said they provide no trash bags! So how are we supposed to help them to clear the trash if no bags provided? U expect us to buy trash bag and help them to clean? Totally ridiculous! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED as the unit is small , odd room layout

Het hotel ziet eruit als een oud huis. De lift in het gebouw is handmatig te bedienen en moet handmatig worden gesloten om te starten. Als je hem nog niet hebt geprobeerd, moet je hem echt proberen! Let bij het boeken van een kamer goed op of de kamer een eigen of een gedeelde badkamer heeft. Ik wilde een eigen badkamer boeken, maar toen de boeking werd bevestigd, bleek het een gedeelde badkamer te zijn! De boiler in dit hotel is een boiler, die er lang over doet om het water te koken, anders is het niet heet genoeg! Bovendien is de aansluiting van de douchekop te hoog geplaatst en kan hij helemaal niet worden gebruikt. Je moet de douchekop met je handen vasthouden om te douchen, wat een beetje onhandig is om je haar te wassen!

1. Ik hoorde het geluid van water uit het riool boven in de kamer. 2. Ik hoorde duiven koeren rond 4:00 uur lokale tijd. 3. Er is geen tandenborstel, dus neem je eigen slippers en tandpasta mee. 4. De kamer was schoon en de gang was ook schoon. 5. Er zijn veel winkelstraten in de buurt en er is ook een vismarkt!

A very kind and welcoming woman at the reception who explained everything in detail; city maps and guides are also available on site. The room fully matches the photos and includes towels, a hairdryer, shower gel, and an air conditioner with adjustable temperature. Sound insulation is not perfect, but during our stay there were no noisy guests, so it did not affect our sleep. There is a shared fridge and microwave near the reception, which is very convenient. The location is excellent: a quiet and safe area with shops, cafés, and public transport nearby, and about a 35–40 minute walk to Sagrada Família at a relaxed pace. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for convenient, comfortable, and safe accommodation close to the city center.

The hotel location is kinda OK. You have many things that you need around you. Yet the area is not that fancy. The room was small and very basic but seems like that what you get for the price. I stayed in a private room

Staff doesn’t speak English so if you don’t speak Spanish, you can use Google translate in your phone to communicate with them. There are two shared bathrooms. They have a pantry (free to use anytime but limited space) with free cold drinking water from water dispenser, hot water in an electric kettle, instant coffee and tea. Plates and mugs can be used too. They will knock on your door if you are making noises after midnight. Tax to be collected at the property can be paid using card. They are located in 1st floor and there is also small lift just for the luggages. Reception is 24/7 so we were able to check out early and leave our luggages which were stored in a closed room near the reception. Location is walking distance near Poble Sec metro station. The street of the hotel is being reconstructed so you can only walk on the sidewalks. Our room was just right outside the shared bathroom so it was really accessible. Felt safe as the receptionist is just there 24/7. Need to press Elkano doorbell to enter the building. Room was spacious for us 3 compared to the other Triple Room we booked during our Europe trip. This was the cheapest stay available during our dates and have mixed reviews. This was a good deal.

De kamer die we kregen lag op een vreselijke locatie, was erg lawaaierig door de straat ernaast, en de kamer ernaast werd elke ochtend stipt om 8 uur gerenoveerd. Gelukkig kregen we later een andere kamer. De geluidsisolatie was niet zo goed als ik had verwacht; ik hoorde constant gekreun en gesteun. Maar ik kan dat wel begrijpen voor een hotel voor stellen.

De minpunten: Er is geen geluidsisolatie; je kunt alles horen wat er in de andere kamers gebeurt. De prijs is hoog voor de kwaliteit van het hotel. Het is niet schoon, met beschadigde en afbrokkelende muren. De toiletten en badkamer laten veel te wensen over. De pluspunten zijn de locatie, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, de 24-uursreceptie en het comfort van de bedden/matrassen.
