"De kamer is schoon en een vriendelijk front desk. Als u de 930 gratis vervoer naar de skiplek gaat nemen, wacht dan vroeg dan 930, ze verlaten eigenlijk rond 915, zelfs het front desk zei u het’s 930. Of anders moet u wachten op de 1030. We zijn er niet te ver, 15 minuten 20 minuten lopen... zonder skiapparatuur is alles goed, denk maar dat je het hele apparaat daar moet brengen. Veel stevige lopen. Het ontbijt is super goed voor mij. Ik begrijp niet waarom anderen hebben gereageerd op het niet goed. Waarom zo kicky. Het is beter dan alle hotels die ik heb gebleven. Als je denkt dat je beter bent dan anderen, blijf gewoon niet, ga dan Ritz Carlton dan... Mooi hotel."

"Nikolay and Daria, the owners of the hotel, welcomed us as close friends. Their kindness, unnoticeable, unobtrusive hourly care for each guest, perhaps, is the most memorable impression of the hotel. They are very nice and some very "own" people. There are no complaints about the room. The menu is beyond praise, dinners are like in a very decent restaurant with an obligatory glass of good wine, and every day we were treated to a new Georgian dish. Indeed, the choice of wines is excellent. The guys have a highly professional team. Alexander did a great job restoring a ski damaged by running over a rock. Roman and Luka were with us all the time, fully prepared to immediately take care of it if the need arose. Vano, who looks after our equipment, is a very nice person, it was interesting to talk to him. Such a homely atmosphere is worth a lot. "5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM. However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed."
