Het uitzicht was niet zoals verwacht. Ik keek uit op een kantoorruimte en moest uiteraard voor het overgrote deel de gordijnen dicht laten. Ik keek uit naar het uitzicht vanuit de badkuip, maar nogmaals, de gordijnen moesten dicht omdat ik letterlijk mensen tegenover me kon zien werken.
De 2 coupons voor elk ¥ 200 konden alleen worden gebruikt voor de duurdere behandelingen en dit werd niet eerder benadrukt.
Het was echter nog steeds een ontspannen sfeer. Het personeel was erg behulpzaam. De plaats was nog niet eerder schoongemaakt, maar toen ik erom vroeg, maakten ze het voor mij schoon. En het stopcontact werkte niet, maar nogmaals, toen ik hen op de hoogte bracht, hebben ze het aangepakt.
Hoe dan ook, voor de prijs van 1200+ per nacht verwachtte ik beter dan de twee doorgebrachte nachten.

De kamer is in orde, alles zou er moeten zijn. Het enige ongenoegen is dat nadat de afhaalmaaltijd was gestolen, de dienstdoende manager onverschillig was en geen oplossing bood, maar de relatie onmiddellijk negeerde en alle verantwoordelijkheden onmiddellijk op de derde partij aflegde afhaalmaaltijden Grote hotels zoals perrons en ruiters doen aan de oppervlakte goed werk om te voorkomen dat ruiters naar boven gaan. Hoe dan ook, ik kom naar jouw hotel voor gemak en comfort, maar jij let meer op andere onbelangrijke dingen. Zelfs een afhaalmaaltijd kan gestolen worden. Ik maak me ook grote zorgen over dit beveiligingssysteem

To avoid the peak period of Chinese New Year, I chose to book Sofitel yesterday, I don’t like too many people. I made the right decision I think . Generally the check in speed is fast, my room was allocated on high floor with the tower view. The room is comfortable and the service there is good. Will be back soon

I loved my stay here! Delicious breakfast and very friendly front desk staff! This is my go to spot whenever I’m in Guangzhou! Highly recommend it !!

The hotel is relatively new with clean and well-equipped rooms. The hotel's location is at the center of Guangzhou City, with easy access to both business and tourist centers and also to connect to the fast train at Guangzhou East Train station. The servicing staff are outstanding and very helpful to us. The breakfast serving is just adequate with nice coffee and other beverages served. The gym room is just good enough when not too many guests want to exercise at one time. The price of the spa is far more expensive for the lodging guests, I wish that discounts could be given to elders and also guests who would stay more than 1 day/night. The room temperature can't be regulated to be cooler so the duvet/blanket is too thick and too warm at night, I slept badly over the two nights of my stay due to being too hot because I had to be covered by the provided. summer duvet on the bed.

I'm staying in this hotel for more than 5 years every month 1-2 times. The quality is gradually falling down. The rooms smell mould, people smoking stinky cigarettes in the rooms and corridors, breakfast and dinner buffet are really poor (except for the pastry, the bread is always fresh an of a high quality). Carpets in the rooms are not really clean. This time I had a big spot on the carpet (maybe red wine, maybe something else). The hotel now cannot be classified as a 5-stat hotel me for the next trips I'm switching to Westin.
