Guangzhou Conghua Duxi Taili Hot Spring Resort is located in Conghua Liuxihe Hot Spring Resort, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It is a joint venture between Guangzhou Metro Group and the Pearl River Industrial Group. The hotel architecture was designed by KTGY Design Firm in Thailand, with interior design from P49 Design Group in Thailand, and landscape design completed by a consortium of Singapore and Thailand's Belgaolin. This resort is extremely tranquil. It is one of the best designed resorts of its kind that I have been to in China. The Hot Springs are very peaceful, and the rooms are fantastic. The only downsides were - the food is poor for vegetarians. The Thai and ‘international’ options seem more like what a Chinese person who has never left China might guess people eat abroad (cold French fries or ham boiled in milk for breakfast anyone?). The hot springs play background music, which could be lovely… but the choice of dance and pop music completely clashes with the atmosphere… it’s the strangest decision. Finally, the hot springs are centered around a massive pool that has been drained, presumably for the winter. It is not taped up with warning tape which looks like the police are securing a murder scene. After investing hundreds of millions in the resort, why fail to make the pool accessible all year round? The resort is not cheap… but the murder-tape pool makes it look like a low-end budget resort. This is a real shame, because the rest of the resort is phenomenal.

very nice Thai style resort northeast of Guangzhou. we didn't expect much but t turns out to be a place love in Thailand, just much closer to Hong Kong. The surroundings are very lush in a nice compound, the villas are secluded and we had a private pool in our garden which was excellent. the public hot springs are very nice and various, maybe a litle bit dated. Kids had a lot of fun going around. the breakfast choices were alright for a western family. service was generally good, special thanks to Jason for his help and support

Guest rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast spread was also good. Overall services and amenities are good for the price paid.

Excellent service by hotel team especially the reception manager Mr 林家兴 who helped me to book cars as my WeChat payment was having problems. Mr 林even gave us a ride back to hotel from the 流溪河National Park as no cars were available at the late hours. The breakfast buffet spread was fantastic especially the Cantonese dim sum and porridge. Will certainly stay again.
