"Booked a one night stay on our way south. The positives are the hotel itself is beautiful. Attention to detail in the decor is stunning. Our room most pleasant. Problems were the lack of customer service provided to their guests. I sent an email to request a reservation in the taverna. Never received a reply/acknowledgment and when we arrived at the taverna there was no reservation. We arrived at 8:00 pm and we notified the hotel of the time of our arrival. Parking across the street a fellow in an orange vest helped with our luggage to the door. It was locked. He went to the taverna of the hotel to indicate guests had arrived. No one came to the door. He went a second time - no one came as we stood in the street with luggage. I rang the bell that I then saw and a staff member came to the door. Check in wasn’t welcoming, friendly nor informative. He took our passports and gave us a room key and showed us the elevator. No explanation about breakfast, wi fi, parking, nothing. When we dropped off our luggage to head to the taverna it was apparent we had interrupted his dinner! The taverna is beautiful. Food was very good. However our waiter without asking charged our meal in our own currency rather than euros which is a benefit to the taverna and certainly not to us. Overall the hotel is beautiful but I wouldn’t stay again as there is no customer service."

"Arrived late for check in after struggling for a taxi in a very busy nearby Frascati. However the receptionist was still on duty and welcomed me in with a friendly check in. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. A good nights sleep followed by a great power shower ahead of a lovely breakfast with lots of choices of pastries, cheese meats and bread. The staff are very efficient and super friendly. I took time to walk around the hotel and it’s beautiful gardens on the hillside overlooking Grottaferrata and it really is idyllic. 100% recommended."

"I booked 15 rooms in this hotel for friends and family for an event held in the area. As with all large bookings, there was a bit of confusion (ours) in the previous months linked to some guests who wanted to arrive earlier or leave later, and the staff always took care to accommodate our requests promptly and giving us always timely confirmation. The rooms were all beautiful and welcoming, furnished with excellent taste. I think mine in particular was a superior room, on the third floor, it was very large, king size bed, double sink in the bathroom, plenty of windows so as to allow a splendid view of the greenery of the Castelli Romani. I took a look around some of my other guest rooms and they all seemed well kept and welcoming, some with a pleasant little terrace. The outdoor spaces are also beautiful and spacious. The ample parking is also excellent. Not trivially, they are a wedding venue, and even though they had an event on Friday and would have another on Saturday, they allowed us to do a small photo shoot in the garden by the pool on Saturday morning without batting an eyelid. I didn't take it for granted and I really appreciated their availability. Overall excellent value for money. Thank you so much, I was very satisfied and I received only compliments from the guests."

"Super kind and helpful. They welcomed us late in the evening, the room was very warm and welcoming, the breakfast was plentiful and attention was paid to every detail. The structure is a magical mix of history, tradition and modernity. Outside there are also gardens and a lot of greenery except that, being in the middle of winter, we didn't go around to see them. We (couple with 1 year old baby) had a great time! We will come back for sure."

"A delightful traditional Roman inn just outside of Grotto Ferrara with beautiful gardens and views of the surrounding hills makes it a really authentic experience or rural Lazio. The hotel has a restaurant a short walk down the hill which was very busy and excellent service and quality of food at reasonable prices The room was nicely decorated and a very comfortable sleep followed by a refreshing shower made a pleasant nights stay. The breakfast table has plenty of choice of fresh meats cheese and breads with the obligatory pastries and cakes. An omelette can be freshly made for you on request all washed down with good strong coffee. The staff are extremely attentive and very friendly and a taxi was waiting for us as requested to take us to the nearby airport upon checking out. An excellent location. 100% recommended"

"Het hotel ziet er mooi uit op de plaatjes maar helaas is niks minder waar. We vonden bloed op een handdoek, vlekken in de gordijnen, muren beschadigd en een gescheurd beddengoed tevens nog gevraagd deze te vervangen is niet gedaan mocht u het niet geloven kijk aub naar die foto’s! Kortom niet heen gaan bij aankomst wilden wat drinken en hadden ze geen witte wijn die was bijna op en ze ging niet eens kijken of er nieuwe was…"
