"Very beautiful, authentic place full of history. We were well received and advised for our visits. The rooms are simple but spacious and pleasant. The table d'hôtes is excellent with local cuisine. I recommend it because it is good value for money."

"This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. "Ik stel een ster in omdat mijn man een tand gebroken heeft omdat er een glas in zijn graanball was en er geen commerciële gebaar werd gemaakt om de follow-up te garanderen als er ooit kosten worden gecreëerd bij de tandarts. Na dit ongeval. Anders was kamer 3 top met grote bad en douche. Het bed een beetje vast maar comfortabel. De zeer charmante plek."

"Ik ging met m'n vriendin een nacht door naar Grignan om het kasteel te bezoeken van het meisje van Madame Sevigné, gemarkeerd door Grignan. Naast het kasteel en het dorp dat je eens in je leven moet hebben gezien, is het hotel charmant en prachtig. De kamers in een oude bouw van oude steen zijn zeer goed ingericht en geëxponeerd. De locatie is ideaal gelegen om het kasteel te bezoeken en te wandelen in het dorp. Ik adviseer voor een stap in de Drôme Provençale die een prachtige regio is."

"I'm writing a review for the sister property, Le Jardin Secret, that has the same owners. They were exceptional hosts, and with their level of care for their guests I am sure La Vie de Chateau is just as amazing. They were attentive to every detail, answering every question, making recommendations, booking reservations for us, even driving us to a restaurant! When I mentioned the pillow was too thick for me, they bought me another pillow! Each day they provided a wonderful breakfast. Most of all they are so warm and kind. The property itself was immaculate and has its own garden and pool. Staying there was our favorite part of our trip to France. Grignan is a quiet, charming village surrounded by lavender fields and with delicious restaurants and is very worth a visit. La Vie de Chateau hotel is at a great location steps from the Chateau de Grignan so I'm sure a stay there is just as wonderful!"
