The Barrel House is in a peaceful neighborhood on Lake Texoma. Just a few miles from Highport Marina (Main Marina) and many other marinas giving access to both sides of the lake as well as Tanglewood Resort and Golf Course. If you are looking for a Sandy Beach there is Island View just a few minutes down the road as well.
If booking on or over the weekend all guest must stay Friday and Saturday Nights. Guest can only check out Sunday thru Friday. You can message me about approving a Saturday Checkout depending on the time of year or how booked up the house is.
Other things to note
If you are bringing a boat/trailer instead of the coming down the hill like the directions will show please turn right at the top of the hill and circle around the neighborhood it makes it much easier to back the trailer into the driveway. Firefly Hideaway has a spectacular view of the lake from the deck or from the jacuzzi/hot tub. Spacious shower. Three tiered deck perfect for out door meals. King size bed to help you dream of the good days ahead. Queen bed in other bedroom. The electric fireplace is remote control and operates with or without heat so it can provide ambience even on warm nights. Fire pit with the option of wood fire or charcoal grill. Gas griddle also available.
The fireflies are visible at night from mid May until late fall.
The cabin is an open arrangement and Ideal for small families, honeymooners or a cozy getaway for meeting up with close friends.
There are lots of local restaurants and shops of all kinds of interesting choices in Denison and Sherman that will fill several days of exploring. As for exploring, there are places along the lakeshore where fossils abound.
