"Lovely large rooms in an nice area in Scotland but without the bar and the restaurant it's very average. They offered us a continental breakfast but that's in your own room. Very expensive for what you get. Ask if we could speak to the manager, never showed up. Very poor communication. "

"This is hotel is superb. PRIVACY, AMENITIES, SERVICE. Most luxurious hotel i’ve stayed. I love the uniform of the staff that will great you when you will arrived (i think its a traditional formal wear). If you want to experience luxury and relax. Must book this place"

"Short notice to find somewhere to stay for the NY and had some concern about some of the negative reviews I found on Trip Adviser. Eveneens, road map in hand maakte ik het naar het Royal Hotel in Girvan en was blij met wat ik vond. Nadat zij daar zijn verbleven en de beoordelingen hebben onderzocht, blijkt dat de meeste klanten het graag hebben om te blijven in de London Ritz voor B&B-geld, omdat hun teleurstellingen van grootheid (door financiële beperkingen) niet zijn vervuld, Zij denken dat zij het recht hebben om de eigenaar en zijn inrichting te veroordelen en te misleiden, die, persoonlijk voor mij, warm welkom was en ervoor zorgde dat ik alles had wat ik wilde. Mijn kamer was zeer schoon, bed was comfortabel en de bladeren smelten mooi uit de was, dus ik had precies wat ik wou ....sommigende om te slapen, en bij £3.70 een pint ergens om te sluiten drinken. Tijdens mijn verblijf was de keuken niet geopend, maar ik werd er van bewust, toen ik nam een controle op de beschikbaarheid van een "Scottish Fry up" toen ze vertelden dat een continentale ontbijt beschikbaar was in de kamer, dus geen problemen daar. Als je nieuwe, scherpe, en goedkope personeel wilt, dan is de koning niet de plek voor je. Betaal Bigger Hotel rekeningen anders waar, dan kunt je klagen, dat je je geld waard hebt. "

"Superb location next to trump Turnberry. Accommodation was exceptional in a nice quiet location. The flat had all that you could need for a short or long stay including ding good parking. The booking and stay was made very easy by Clare who made a number of recommendations in relation to eating out and nearby pubs. Clare gets a 5 put of 5 for customer service and friendliness. Could not fault a thing."

"Having just disembarked from a wonderful Hebridean Princess cruise, every day sunny we very much looked forward to our stay at Glenapp Castle. Regrettably we cancelled our rent a car as it became very obvious having arrived at Glenapp Castle that its isolated location (closest small village Ballentane) that the car was needed to visit the very many historical locations and the many walks. That is not to say that the walks around the Glenapp estate through the woodlands and glens were wonderful. We had requested a garden view suite but unfortunately we were given a suite overlooking the car park. We had booked for a four night stay and unfortunately we paid the upfront non cancelable rate. We had one dinner and two light lunches. The dinner a three course set menu was fairly good but the second lunch was inedible ( the ravioli as described in the menu lacked the.mushrooms and truffle replaced with some terrible sauce). The serving staff mainly lovely young girls really need more training. We initially decided after two days to check out citing a medical reason to be in Edinburgh. We asked for a refund on two nights but it was immediately rejected.the response claim on Travel Insurance as it was a non cancelable rate. Maybe this was understandable. Any way we stayed three nights but to be honest we were very glad to depart foregoing the last night’s rate. I am very sorry to have to write this review but quite frankly Glenapp did not live up to our expectations!"

"We really enjoyed our stay and had no complaints at all. Staff were friendly and helpful and both lodges, Bargany 10 and Turnberry 48 were spotless, well-equipped and tasteful. We were a family group of 10 ranging from 3years - 69 years and we all had a great stay. Thank you."
