The staff make the stay extra special as they go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met. - Monique sorted out our check in issue, always very friendly. - The breakfast team sorted our out dietary requirements, Anwin was great with the kids - Dillon made drinks to order. There could be more activities in the kids area and give it a make over, the dart board needs upgrading but there is table tennis and a pool table. Our room was on the first floor, no lifts so bear that in mind. the rooms are spread out - it is not one big hotel, but a cluster of units. Lots of green space in between for kids to play."

"They didn't know I was booked when I arrived, although I had checked in via a link they sent me, so I had to wait outside while they cleaned the room. I didn't have breakfast on the first morning because they didn't know it was included in my booking. I didn't eat because by 7h45am food was not yet ready. I didn't have breakfast again on the Thursday because the kitchen opened around 7h30am. When I returned to the BnB on Thursday afternoon (16h00), my room had still not been cleaned, so again I waited outside while they cleaned it. The cleaning lady is always on the phone talking loudly for hours on end in the corridors, so one can't relax in peace and quiet."

"De kamer is perfect schoon, met nieuwe meubels, matrassen en bedden. Het receptiepersoneel is vriendelijk en efficiënt om alle problemen op te lossen. Maar ik wil het ontwerp van de kamer, die zeer kantoorachtig is, bespreken. Ik denk dat een helderer kleurenschema de kamer meer uitnodigend zou maken. Bovendien, ik voel me spijt van uw personeel, omdat ze onrechtvaardig behandeld worden. De man buiten is gedwongen om de hele dag op de poort te staan om de poort te openen! Hoe het ook is, of het warm en zondig of koud en windig is, hij heeft geen plaats om te zitten. En zet een camera op de poort, zodat hij de poort kan openen als hij een auto ziet komen. Het is een eenvoudige oplossing! Had de receptie zelfs een stoel? Hoe is dat mogelijk? Als ze moe is of een zwellende voet heeft, hoe kan ze gasten welkom heen? Het maakt niet uit of ze zit, maar het maakt niet uit of ze beter op je personeel staat en ze zullen de gunst teruggeven. Ik hoop echt op positieve veranderingen in uw hotel en voor uw medewerkers!"

Je wordt naar een donkere, onaangename sportbar op het complex gestuurd met matig eten. Het hotel mist oog voor detail. Het heeft een opknapbeurt en een nieuw ontwerp nodig. Gelukkig vonden we een leuk restaurantje bij Herrolds Beach (Dutton's Cove) waar we wel konden eten. We raden dit hotel niet aan."

The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a "wilderness" vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!"
