Premier Inn Newcastle (Team Valley)

Very poor reception from the staff,mix up with the room booking and reception didn’t want to help or remedy the situation.

Perfect base for 1 night stopover. Went to Lionesses game at St James Park and Premier Inn stay suited us much better than fighting with traffic and public transport. Excellent

Chose this hotel to stay in as we was there to watch the football, absolutely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay over, friendly staff clean rooms and a lovely breakfast

Fantastic Staff make this hotel a joy to stay at. The rest of the hotel is up to the normal Premier Inn standard. Located in a great spot for touring the area. Our special request for a lower floor room was dealt with without fuss. The restaurant serves up a good breakfast but its either full English buffet or continental at a fixed cost. No alternative if you want something simple such as just beans on toast. Full price breakfast would still be charged. As for evening meal quality was good but menu was not varied enough for us. As a result of this we took breakfast and evening meal at a chain over the road most days of our 5 night stay. Larger selection and slightly cheaper, Not as nice inside as the Premier inn Tyme Restaurant.

being avid Springsteen ( concert at Sunderland) fans this was the nearest hotel (just off the A1) we could get into on a budget . perhaps the best choice we made. Lovely front desk lady got us an early check in so we could up pack and get ready for the rest of the day. Lovely well mannered friendly staff through and rooms very spacious and clean . Loved the 2 guys on the night shift who served around 45 of us (boss fans) a late beer or two , they were great . Good breakfast in the morning to set us on our way....SINCERE THANKS TO ALL CONCERNED !!!!!!

I stayed here for one week on business. Carpark is shared with a gym but enough space for long wheel base vans Top floor is all prem plus Bad points: Got stuck next to a party room - the police were called and the hotel did did evict them after many complaints.....but I requested a quiet room from the off ...why put a gang of teenagers next to me?? Check in Staff seemed disinterested from the beginning my colleagues all felt the same.

I had a lovely couple of nights stay while travelling for work. My room was well appointed, quiet and comfy, and had a wonderful night's sleep. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I had fantastic service from Michelle at dinner. The hotel is very handy for businesses in Team Valley, and I'm sure I'll be back when I'm next in the area for work.

We stay at many Premier Inns around the country, always a good standard, but this one has something special, something exceptional... I'm talking about the delightful experience of being looked after by Richard, Leanne and the rest of the Restaurant and Reception team. This was above and beyond our expectation and consistent over the two days that we stayed there. Every single staff member we interacted with was eager to please and always with a genuine smile. Kindness really is infectious there. We'll be back soon!
