Park Hotel Oasi
"Ik verblijf momenteel in dit hotel met een Leger-busreis en het is echt niet geweldig, zeker geen 4 sterren, eerder 2. Het eten is echt vreselijk, ik kan niet dineren, het is gewoon walgelijk, ik neem alleen een dessert. Het ontbijt is altijd goed met een ruime keuze, maar het avondeten is altijd afschuwelijk. Leger betaalt een fortuin voor onze vakanties en stopt ons vervolgens in dit vervallen en ouderwetse hotel, het is een lachertje. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer 1,6 km van het meer, met een grote heuvel om af en weer op te lopen, dus niet geschikt voor ouderen of mensen met een beperking. Eerlijk gezegd vind ik Leger een oplichterij die ons in deze staat in dit hotel laat verblijven en heb ik medelijden met de mindervalide gasten. Ik kan tenminste het grootste deel van de tijd weg van het hotel. De koffie die in het café van het hotel wordt geserveerd, is koud. Het personeel van dit hotel doet zijn uiterste best om je een fijne vakantie en service te bezorgen, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zonder het aardige personeel zou ik dit hotel geen 2 sterren geven, ze proberen echt een zinkend schip te redden. Het personeel is wat dit hotel zo geweldig maakt, de rest is verschrikkelijk."

"Fantastisch hotel, perfecte locatie voor wandelen overal in Garda. Grote personeel. Very clean. Ontbijt selectie uitstekend uit de prosecco, sap, koffie, thee, koud vlees selectie, gerookte vis, warm selectie tie, pasta, taarten en zelfs honing van de honingcomb! Wonderlijk dakpool om af te koelen, en bar met snacks. Het was niet de maaltijd, maar alleen omdat we liever uit eten. Menu's zagen er mooi uit en leken populair."

"We had a lovely few days here. If you want a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles, then this place probably isn't for you. However, if you want somewhere in a fantastic central location, with friendly staff, a good breakfast and somewhere that is clean and welcoming, I would recommend thoroughly. The terrace upstairs is a great addition and was always quiet and relaxed. Overall, a great place to explore the lake and we hope to be back."

"A pretty disappointing experience overall. The property is very old and very n urgent need of renovation and repairs. Eg. Hot tub outside doesn’t work, ac was out of order, etc. The pictures they use to advertise are not reflective of the current state of the property. The staff are not very friendly and border on rude. We had dinner there and I am pretty sure the dessert was spoiled."

"Leuk authentiek hotel met groot zwembad in een mooie omgeving! Het eten was heel lekker ( brood was een minpunt : hard en weinig variatie), maar heel goed buffet met zuiderse groenten, elke dag opties ofwel vis of vlees, gecombineerd met voorafgaand een pasta. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel! Heerlijk zwemmen, maar jammer dat je niet op de grond kon staan omdat het water te diep is ( tenzij je meer dan 1,80m groot bent). Het hotel straalde een echte Italiaanse sfeer uit van de jaren 70, het was gezellig met 'eigen charme'. Het is geen 'massahotel met onpersoonlijk interieur. Super om te ontspannen!"

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Due to delayed flights we had to stay in Garda a night before moving on. So we booked this hotel at 9pm at night and the staff were so accommodating. It’s in a great area. I’m now sorry we only got to stay for one night. I will be back for a longer stay! "

"Really enjoyed our two night stay here, especially the swimming pool! Check out was at 11 which meant we could jump in and have another dip in the pool after breakfast but before leaving. Room was very well equipped- lots of space for storing luggage, bed was very big and comfortable and the air conditioning worked beautifully and was much appreciated after a day out in the heat. Fridge and safe in the room, really good bathroom- we had a disabled room which may explain why the shower cubicle wasn't as well sealed as it could have been and the floor got quite wet but this is literally my only gripe. Our room faced the road outside but we didn't hear a peep from any vehicles. Breakfast was okay- good selection of cereals, cheese, eggs etc. Staff very friendly on check in and really helpful would happily stay here again."

"We travel a lot and never write reviews. We felt compelled to do so in this case because we were close to cancelling our stay based on negative reviews on this website. This is a 16th C building converted into a 13 bedroom boutique hotel, set just outside Garda town in a desirable location favoured for lunch and sundowners by the Lake Garda boating fraternity. It has access to a shared pool, or is adjacent to a beautiful protected beach area which costs e30 a day ( you can come and go) to rent a lounger and umbrella ( as is the same everywhere we have been to in Italy ). The protected bathing area is easy to see in pictures and faces away from Garda town. The pictures of the hotel on the website are authentic. We stayed in the water view room in the wing overlooking the popular hotel bar on the pier. This is a 16th C building, it is not a modern glass and steel, floor to ceiling window type hotel. Our room was charming, authentic, and although the bathroom really only fits one person at a time, it had been refurbished and was fully equipped Breakfast and dinner were served on the restaurants outdoor terrace facing out to the lake and away from the pier/ bar. This is a lovely setting. The food and service were good and the staff spoke multiple languages and certainly english The pier bar is immensely popular with non hotel guests, who walk along the shore from Garda or boat in. From the first day of our four night stay the bar “ organiser” recognised me, knew my room number, and always gave us a table ( we were 2) immediately. We were there at one of the busiest weekends of the year. ( we did not have lunch there, maybe that is more of a problem,and a large group might be a problem) For people who like authentic, do not mind walking on heavily worn 16th c cobble stones, understand that in Italy you have to pay for eg a sun lounger, and love a beautiful setting, then we fully recommend this hotel"

"Just back from a weeks stay as this hotel. It is a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious and the hotel itself is a little gem of a find. The location is perfect for ferry, buses and bars and restaurants. We could have a lake view room as they weren’t available so had a room at the back although small it was ample especially as the pool and garden area is so lovely to relax in.!a fabulous hotel that I would 100% recommend"

"Luidruchtig... vies... maar grote Duitse leaseauto's voor de bungalows... er is maar één ding dat werkt... een grote auto of een schoon huis/hotel. Geen service. Snel geld, €850 voor 1 week... zo verdien je geld... koop een goedkoop huis voor me aan het Gardameer en verhuur het aan domme Duitsers... Ja, de oude Romeinen waren slim."

"The apartments were brilliant. We loved every moment. The hills were a little steep but worth the view. The apartments were a great size and very close to everything. There are 2 pools, a quaint supermarket and a lovely poolside restaurant. Overall, the stay was delightful. However, there was a slight dampener in our experience. There was a particular resident who lived 2 doors up from the bottom pool area. From the moment we arrived she was entitled and rude. She told us to quiet our children in the morning time, before siesta. She took videos of our children. She hose piped my brother in law while holding his 2 yr old son. Her and her mother blocked the car park because someone was in their spot. She held her hand on the horn of her car for half an hour , while her mother went looking for the resident that took her car space even though there was ample parking. For someone who claimed Namaste hand gestures, this small woman has a heart to match her black hair. She really did sour this experience on a small level, but you can't keep Irish down! Maybe it's all the bitter lemons she eats? Overall the apartment was beautiful, the people were mostly nice. We would love to go back again, even if we were to annoy the witch! One star taken away for the entitled resident, sorry!"

"We hadden een junior suite, die was comfortabel maar een beetje moe. Als bestemming voor sportliefhebbers is het erg goed. De shuttlebusdienst was ontoereikend, er konden maar 7 mensen zitten. We liepen meestal naar Garda, dat iets minder dan 2 mijl is en niet de 2 kilometer die in de brochure wordt geadviseerd. Het receptiepersoneel was beleefd en behulpzaam. De schoonmaak van onze suite was onberispelijk. Het ontbijt had een goede keuze en voor ieder wat wils. Er werd echter niets op bestelling gekookt. Het avondeten was vreselijk, we hadden halfpension en hadden spijt dat we dat hadden geboekt. Na de eerste paar nachten zijn we uit eten gegaan. Het zou leuk zijn geweest als het bedienend personeel tenminste had geglimlacht, geen goedemorgen/heb je een fijne dag gehad/wat zijn je plannen voor vandaag. ☹️ alleen maar chagrijnige gezichten. Aan de positieve kant kwamen we pas rond 9 uur 's avonds aan in het hotel en kregen we een koud buffet aangeboden. Het was de beste maaltijd die we in het hotel hadden. Er waren verschillende grote congressen gedurende de week en ik vraag me af of dit heeft bijgedragen aan het slechte eten. Stond de keuken onder druk? Als je lekker Italiaans eten verwacht, zou ik dit hotel zeker niet aanraden. Fantastisch, redelijk geprijsd eten in het hele Gardameer. Ik vrees dat ik er nog een keer zou verblijven."

"The welcome was very warm! The nice lady at reception explained everything to us and offered us a welcome drink. We were then taken to our room and given a few useful tips. Since you can choose and put together your breakfast from a very extensive list the day before, you won't miss anything. If you have forgotten or overlooked something, that is no problem. It will be delivered by friendly staff. Our room was clean, big enough and we had a very nice view of the lake. The cleaning was carried out in the morning and was also fine. You can't say anything negative about the pool area either. It is beautifully laid out and invites you to relax. A small snack is also served in the afternoon. Since there were no naughty or shouting children present during our stay, we were able to relax really well. Just great! We then extended it for another night. It would be very nice and desirable if this house were turned into an “adults only” hotel. Then subsequent vacationers could also enjoy their time here. We really enjoyed the days and nights in this hotel and will definitely come back!"

"Well what more can I say other than other than if you love a slice of Italian hospitality with a touch of tradition and charm this is the place for you and get it booked you will not be disappointed. We have just returned from a 10 night stay from this hotel and loved every minute of it and will definately be back to revisit this beautiful area of Italy. It has become a firm favourite of ours. The hotel itself is in a prime position on the lake front and a few steps away from the town with all the bars, restuarants and shops. The hotel is very traditional but provides all the amenities for a perfect stay. We stayed in a double room which was based at the back of the hotel. Considering the main road was near we had no noise issues with the double glazed window. The room was kept spotless by the maids and was plenty big enough for all personal belongings. I must say it was a wonderful sight to see enough coat hangers in the wardrobe to allow you to unpack for your stay. This is a real bugbear of mine when travelling not being able to unpack sufficiently for the duration of your stay. All the staff we encountered were polite friendly and professional and very helpful and most of all appeared happy in their jobs. The breakfast was wide and varied with both hot and cold options. Some hot options were cooked fresh to order from the kitchen. The breads and pastries were wide and varied due to the attached patisserie and tasted divine if they are to your personal taste. We didn't sample the evening meal menu as are not fans of a la carte dining but are aware that it was an award winning experience. The bus station is across the road and the the ferry ticket office is a 5 minute walk away so transport options are not an issue for exploring this beautiful area. We had a fabulous holiday and look forward to returning to this beautiful part of Italy. I can certainly see the reasons why other reviewers have returned to this hotel time and time again and we will definately be joining them."

"This family run hotel is superb. We have stayed here 4 times and have always had a very positive experience. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, as is the whole hotel. The restaurant is excellent and serves typical food for the region. The owners and staff are very welcoming and we are looking forward to our next visit in 2024. With a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Garda, it is very well placed."

"Brilliant location , was on a tour meals nice choose at the breakfast for the evening meal .no bar , rooms cleaned daily small fridge .no tea making already knew so took own kettle etc .my room wasn't the best 124 as only had a small window & looked out onto a roof I did ask to move but full hotel. Would have been perfect if front with balcony. As had an early return flight they did give us a breakfast pack up .would recommend as good location & beautiful view looking out of restaurant."

Hotel la Perla - Bike Hotel
"We bezochten dit hotel tijdens de paasvakantie. Ligging en bereikbaarheid zijn top. We zijn er goed ontvangen, ook al waren we te vroeg om in te checken. Het hotel is aan de binnenzijde wel wat outdated, en kan hier en daar wel wat renovatie gebruiken, maar was verder wel proper. De kamers zijn redelijk klein. Wij verbleven er met 3 (met onze dochter van 10) en dan wordt er een extra bed bijgeschoven (onder het hoofdbed uit). Hierdoor wordt het in de kamer echt wel heel krap. Gelukkig had de kleerkast een schuifdeur, anders konden we er De service in het restaurant is zeer goed. Alle medewerkers zijn steeds in de weer. Het eten was degelijk en lekker en duidelijk altijd vers. Het hotel wordt wel gebruikt voor busreizen, wat soms wel voor wat extra drukte in het restaurant zorgt. De auto konden we kostenloos in een overdekte parking zetten. Je krijgt bij inchecken 1 toegangskaart voor de kamer, wat ik persoonlijk raar vind. Bij simpele vraag kregen we echter een 2e kaart ter beschikking. Grootste nadeel, al wisten we dit wel op voorhand, was dat het buitenzwembad pas in mei openging. Er waren nog onderhoudswerken bezig aan het zwembad, dus het kon uiteraard ook niet open. Daarnaast staat aangegeven dat er airco is op de kamer, maar deze werkte niet, waarschijnlijk omdat het nog maar april was. Het waren echter, gelukkig maar, zeer mooie en warme dagen die week, dus airco had wel aangenaam kunnen zijn. We zijn halfweg ons verlof van kamer moeten wisselen door een technisch defect op de gang waar we eerst lagen (breuk in een waterleiding). Daarna hadden we een kamer met zicht op het zwembad en de Rocca, wat wel degelijk een beter zicht is dan zicht op het binnenpleintje van het hotel (wat we eerst hadden). Ter compensatie kregen we een fles spumante en wat hapjes, wat een mooie geste van het hotel was."

"We stayed here for a wind down week after visiting Rome and Venice. What a fantastic hotel! We had a large beautifully furnished room overlooking the terrace/pool with a view of the lake beyond. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (especially Carlotta and Giarda on reception). They arranged flowers and procecco on arrival (it was our honeymoon) and a cake on my birthday, also transfers and tours. The hotel is a little way from the centre of Garda but every time we asked for the free hotel shuttle bus it arrived to pick us up within 5 minutes. It couldn't have been a better stay, and we'd love to come back in future!"
