"We stayed at this brand new hotel (open since fall 2023). Everytime was great. The location, the room, the kind staff, the attention to detail, breakfast and dinner. And the heated outdoor pool. The domain is situated at the border of a small village with views on the fields. Shortly connected to the nice town of Uzes and the larger city of Nimes. As the weather was not great, we visited all highlights of the Gard and the Provence and had a great stay. We can highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a few days of rest, or as a fallout for visiting the region. We met the passionate and kind owners who will surely make this hotel a great succes! Five stars!"

"Excellent welcome Free drinks while waiting for rooms to be available Cleanliness and impeccable service. The small problem: upon checkout, I was told: 1) payment for the drinks offered upon arrival 🧐 After an explanation, I didn't pay anything 2) payment for two breakfasts (€44) that I supposedly ordered??????? Even though I was staying with friends to have breakfast there. This means that anyone can use the catering services on someone else's behalf. I want to point out that I ended my pleasant stay on a sour note. 🫤"

"Goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. De grootte van de studio is groter dan we verwachtten. Opmerkingen die niet in alle appartementen zijn gevonden: kruis, zeep, vaatproduct, schimmel, ... Grote wasmachine. Parkeerplaats dicht. Een gezeilde stel in de salon zou nodig zijn voor meer privacy. Welkom. Mooie ontdekking."

"A selection of Danish-style dishes full of promise, but which unfortunately does not deliver! (39 euros per person) A 6-course tasting (the Fork ad), for dishes served all at once, in containers to share Simple anchovies (without tempura), aioli (dill?), thin slices of cucumber (in no case of pickles), absence of radish Smoked trout, non-candied peppers (roasted in a pinch), absent trout egg cream, fermented raspberries (of which we will have found a few grains) Asparagus magically transformed into candied artichokes, mimosa egg unseasoned (a condiment is supposed to bring a little fun), we highlight the presence of black olive puree Shredded chicken (?), celery stalk remoulade that we are still looking for (normally a very pronounced taste), sticks of granny smith, very crispy bacon because it's burnt Beef gravlax (just the name) of beef, Zucchini pulp with mint (bland), feta, unroasted hazelnuts, blackcurrant Fresh goat's cheese mousse (brought at the start of the meal, which can be enjoyed straight away lukewarm...) A carafe of lukewarm water requested twice (30 degrees on the terrace this evening) Spoon also requested which will never arrive... It's a shame, the products seem to be of quality, but they are not worked. No pep, no taste, no slightly spicy juice, or condiment to add a little flavor. In summary, a salty note but not enough to thrill the taste buds! Only the wine (a Campuget Syrah Vermentino 2022 rosé) and the setting will have illuminated our evening."

"We hebben de accommodatie geboekt vanwege de ligging ten opzichte van vele bezienswaardigheden en de goede recensies. Helaas werden onze verwachtingen niet waargemaakt. Ons appartement was versleten en zo koud als een kelder. Sommige badkamers hebben geen douchegordijn of ventilatie. De banken hadden vlekken. De sfeer is overal prachtig: fantastische tuin, geweldig zwembad, prachtige designwinkel van de eigenaar. Maar we voelden ons niet echt welkom. De medewerkers waren beleefd en gereserveerd zonder verdere interesse in de gasten. Meer een accommodatie voor stellen die op zoek zijn naar rust en anonimiteit. Speelmogelijkheden voor kinderen zijn beperkt en ook al versleten (trampoline, tafeltennis). Ontbijt en diner wederom in een leuke sfeer, maar ook hier is de prijs-prestatieverhouding niet gerechtvaardigd. Zorg ervoor dat u muggenspray meeneemt. Vanaf 17.00 uur is buitenverblijven alleen in de zomer mogelijk in een beschermd gebied vanwege de nabijgelegen Camargue. Nog iets over het landschap: alles is heel vlak en agrarisch. Lange afstanden naar een café of supermarkt. Een goed uitgangspunt voor uitstapjes naar Avignon, Arles, Pont du Gard. Over het algemeen voldeed het echter niet aan onze verwachtingen van een viersterrenaccommodatie."

"Once again, there was a pleasant time at the Domaine Croissant de Lune at Brigitte. On and top guest, who knows how to make a stay pleasant. Enjoy a very tasty table d'hotes, which she has made for us, among other things. Enjoy we have sure! Thank you!! 😍"

Château de Pondres

"The arrival driveway is very bumpy, there's no space to park or unload luggage, the guest parking is in the park without clear signage, finally the reception allowed us to use the nearby disabled parking, but it was already very busy even though the clientele was very small. Due to the few guests, the breakfast offered must be ordered the day before and is always charged at 19 euros! The room is adequate, the bathroom is not as large as expected, with a sink and a shower, and the toilet is not separate. For a 4-star hotel... No refrigerator and no coffee machine, but a kettle with Nescafé pods. The daily housekeeping could be improved, especially for the bathroom. So, the services are not up to the expected standard...very disappointed. Even if we book during the off-peak season, we deserve better, at least the high-season service. We did not have breakfast or dinner at the Canopée restaurant because it was closed two of the three evenings we were there."

"A spectacularly beautiful establishment full of charm and curated antiques. We loved our stay at Jardins Secrets, it is indeed a unique and special place for pure relaxation at the heart of Nîmes. We are a family of four with a little doggie and initially booked the family room but the charming Victoria who greeted us at reception advised that since we had 2 adult daughters it would be more comfortable to have 2 separate suites. The girls had the chambre mademoiselle and they absolutely adored it. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with period style furniture which reflected the soul of the old Coach house. The owners have done an amazing job of decorating each piece and public spaces (there are about 5) beautifully curated and styled public spaces including the bar and 14 unique and absolutely stunning gorgeously decorated rooms. It was like being in a fairy tale, the gardens and inner courtyard merited to be called secret garden as it had a stunning pool, with lovely plants and birdsong accompanying one, when you sat outside. I would have like to keep this place a secret as it was indeed a beautiful discovery. My daughters have traveled the world with us, be it in Asia, Africa, Europe and the US, stayed in luxurious accommodations but the Jardins Secrets was one of the best hotels in the world by far. The hotel manager Victoria is a real gem, her warmth and hospitality coupled with her kindness and enthusiasm made our stay memorable and wonderful. Victoria is a real star and asset to this establishment. Breakfast was served in the lovely garden and on a rainy day in the antique kitchen, we even had candlelight for breakfast service indeed a treat. One night on our return from dinner in Nîmes, the whole place was lit with candles and the perfume scented spaces were outer worldly. We were not surprised that a slew of celebrities had stayed here for its serenity and anonymity that a 14 bedroom luxury mansion could only offer in comparison to chain 5 star hotels. Names like Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Sting, Billy Halliday, Phil Collins were whispered amongst many other guest of great but discerning taste. An exceptional elegant and exquisitely crafted establishment."
