"this is the worst thing that can happen to you. the state of the hotel is as if the Second World War ended there yesterday. everything is very dirty. the hotel should pay people extra for staying here. I don't understand why they ask for so much money here."

De check-in agent vertelde ons dat er geen 2 slaapkamers beschikbaar waren op onze check-intijd van ongeveer 4 pm??????? Anders zou ik een hogere rating hebben."

"I went to check in only to find that their office is next door at the Days Inn! Over to the Dqys Inn I go which was more inviting than the Travelodge. The graveyard clerk was most friendly and helpful including letting me stay at the Days Inn instead of the dingy Travelodge with questionable clientele. My first discovery was that neither soda machine worked! I then tried to get inside my room but had to throw a tackle at the jammed door to get in. Tried to turn a light on to no avail and a 2nd light to no avail. Got put my flashlight and found the bathroom with the only working light in the room. I then went to get ice but that room was locked and closed. Back to the office to get some ice! The next morning I went out for breakfast. When I returned, couldn't get the door open again. Went to the office to ask the day clerk if he could !help me open the door. He muttered a couple of things and being he was a few steps in front of me, (I walk slow) he got the door open as I approached the room. Instead of handing me the key back, he flung it into the room which meant I had to crawl around looking for it. He was equally as surly when I checked out!"
