There are very few reviews on Ctrip's foreign hotels. Although the speed of updating room availability is very slow, I often receive information after booking that the room is full, but the price seems to be the same. The hotel is on the mountain, some distance from the attractions, but it's just a walk away. Compared with Rome, the room is very big and the price is cheap. The rooms are all early, breakfast is quite simple, there is not much to eat.

Our tour group stayed one night at this hotel. I stayed in room 215. Bed was comfortable. There was an open closet with a safe. The mini-fridge is under the desk and was not stocked. The electrical outlets at the desk were not easy to access. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower head. There was a bidet next to the toilet. There was a towel warmer but no face cloths. The liquid soap and shampoo were in large refillable dispenser. The free wi-fi was easy to connect and it was fast enough for my needs. The breakfast buffet was typical of Italy hotels.

The area is very beautiful and well-treated, especially the pool. As regards the structure itself, you will certainly be aware that it would need more maintenance. Our room was small and full of antique furniture that made the environment even more sharp and tight. Note that the restaurant service was not active within the structure (the lack of correctly reported in the booking phase ) We would have wanted to report these problems to the property but in the check-out phase (possible only after the 9.) Whistle stop on our way south. Great place for a relaxing evening after an extremely long drive. I needed some last minute directions, as my satnav was experiencing heat stroke, and the lady at the reception was more than happy to put up with me over the phone, until I saw her waving at me from the glass doors... Great venue, fantastic room, clean and airy, well ventilated. ST. Francis of Assisi Basilica on top of the hill was in view of our bedroom window. Dinner, in the main House was extremely good, using local produce. Service very efficient and unobtrusive at the same time that left clients with time to relax without being pressurised. Breakfast buffet very good, although the plain omelette cooked on order was not really to my satisfaction. The freshly carved local ham was delicious as were the salami and bread.

This hotel has a great location as it is walking distance to all main hallmarks of Assisi, however the magic was soon demolished by the horrific customer service provided by Tiziana, I was checking out and she wanted to double charge me for a lunch already paid, I had to show her my bank statement via my bank application to avoid a second transaction, how she handled the situation was pitiful, and made that experience so nasty that never coming back here. Always keep your receipts because if you run into her you better have ready a prove of all payments, she is rude and lack of manners, when I called an hour later to get her name a man named Giuseppe picked up the phone and when I asked who runs this restaurant to express my disapproval on how the’re managing clients accounts he was hesitant to provide any information, first he said that Elena is the boss, then changed the name for Manuala, when I asked for a contact # to communicate with one of those names mentioned, he refused and finished the call, when I call back he kept Doing the same blaming it all on bad connection. Very rude person, sadly! The behavior of these two Giuseppe and Tiziana needs serious attention, the way they treat guests is very poor, classless, and unprofessional.
