房間非常乾淨整潔，需要注意的是，辦入住的office在住房對面路口，晚入住時會寫明旅客住哪間房，房門沒鎖可以直接進去。房間還帶個小院子，適合喝點啤酒聊聊天！屋子裡還有個壁爐可以烘毛巾。 Motel離網紅早餐店fairlie barkey很近，第二天可以買完早飯出發。他家餅子很結實，都是餡兒餅肉量很足的。 有一點不太愉快的是，我明明付了2大1小的預訂費，退房時房東看見我們三個人出來，説我們衹付了一個人的錢，但是看在我們帶孩子的份上算了。我們感覺被冤枉了。當時已經解釋了，可能是代理商的問題，我的訂單是正常付款了3個人的。後來等走了，讓攜程管家和房東溝通清楚了，代理找她確認了我們付過三個人的錢了。所以帶娃的家庭要注意，因為2個人的房間和3個人的房間，也許房型相同，但價格肯定會不同，因為海外要算清潔床鋪和打掃的費用。也許誤會一場，不管怎樣房間確實很不錯！攜程客服也是靠譜的。

The hotel is fairly easy to find with its large signage outside. The office is located at the rear of the property and there is a large area in front of it to turn vehicles around. There wasn't anyone in the office when we arrive but the blackboard did let us know which unit we were in. The room was already warm and it was quite comfortable. there was a single car park in front of the unit so it was fairly easy to get everything into the room. The room was quite spacious with a small dining area and a kitchenette. There was plenty of plugs around and the WiFi was easy to get on and decent. As Fairlie isn't very big, it was quite central to the town, being a few minute's walk away. It was also close to the museum. The driveway is off the main highway so it makes it a bit safer as the road adds a buffer. It was quite a nice stay. We only stayed overnight and there was no one in the office the following morning. I just left the keys in the room and texted the phone number as they weren't picking up the calls.

This is a spacious roomy motel in the lovely township of Fairlie in the Mackenzie country is about 20 mins from Lake Tekapo. The units have full cooking facilities and we stayed in a two bed unit which could have slept 5. The manager is welcoming and there is free wifi. Pick up the local newspaper - ‘The Fairlie Accessible,’ which gives you an interesting read of the area; ‘Advice from an old Farmer’ on page 12 of the January edition is enlightening. Easy check in, very friendly, accommodating staff. Mantra was perfect for a family stay. There was plenty of room for the family, a good outside space and the garage in the middle of winter was fantastic. The upstairs heating in the bedrooms was amazing. However downstairs - main living, tv, kitchen, dining room was freezing. The gas fire was ineffective in the negative temperatures and even with an extra heater (which we requested), we were cold when downstairs. They have everything needed for a stay - full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Staff were great.

Although it is 15 kilometers from the well-known Tekapo, it only takes ten minutes to drive. Although the Burkes pass is really a small, very old, almost no-village country, it is really quiet, only your breath is quiet. It’s a wilderness in the wilderness. If you are lucky and have not encountered a cloudy day, then your stargazing experience must greatly exceed Tekapo!

A nice place to stay. Had a lake view room with bath, which was great. Had stayed around ten year ago and it has recently been refurbished. Bed super comfy and warm. It has heating but no aircon, so would be very warm during January February unless there was a good breeze blowing. Isabella on reception went above and beyond in sorting out wifi issue that some of us guests were experiencing which turned out to be an update issue from their providers. Other facilities at Fairlie Getaway include a sun terrace.

Facilities: It should be the best in Lake Tekapo. The room is large, clean and hygienic. The triple room we booked was shown by Ctrip as having one bed. We asked customer service to communicate with the hotel about whether an extra bed could be added, but the reply said no. When we arrived, we discovered that this room type originally had two beds, and the Ctrip photo was not very accurate.
