Groot complex maar transport over zee of over de weg altijd bij de hand. Restaurants een beetje duur, maar te verwachten als 5-sterrenhotel. Privéstrandzwembad en bubbelbad en zwembad beheerd goed handdoeken en geen gedoe voor ligbedden. Al met al hebben we een fantastische week gehad en als we onze honden niet hadden gemist, waren we er nog een keer gebleven. Een echte aanrader"

"We zijn net terug van een topvakantie. Dit is de ideale plek voor gezinnen, met jonge en oudere kinderen. We zijn goed ontvangen, en wat een vriendelijk personeel ook. De avonden zijn nog het mooist, met gezelligheid rond het amfitheater. Speciale dank gaat uit naar Theo, die er iedere dag weer was met z,n gezellige praatje, en onze kinderen het echte vakantie gevoel gaf, door gek met ze te doen, en ze warmte te geven.. wij gaan zeker terug komen.."

"Not 4 star maybe 3 at a push. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Needs a lot of updating in all areas. Not enough sunbeds at pool and people reserving then disappearing for hours. Rooms are ok size ask for sea view. Air con is terrible we had to ask for a fan. Toilet is tiny and glass walls and door which you can't shut if your over 4ft tall. Shower was good beds were very comfortable and location is great. Lots of steps which we didn't mind. Breakfast was horrendous we ate out everyday. Would not return"

"I have reviewed Elounda Heights before but felt it worthy of another. It is a very special place with a unique atmosphere run by a small but tight team of 10 people who are all super friendly. You are well looked after, from the moment you arrive, to the time you leave. All the rooms, either studios or apartments, are immaculate with either a terrace or balcony offering uninterrupted views over the bay of Korfos and Mirabello Bay. Rooms are regularly cleaned with fresh towels and bedding every couple of days. Also, complimentary shampoos, conditioners, and moisturisers are replenished when used. The food at the pool bar is all freshly made with a good selection of Greek and other warm and cold snacks. There is an on-site restaurant and bar where meals are served every evening (except Sundays), and a daily special is created by the legend that is Vangelis. Always delicious. There is an ala carte menu too. The owners, Kostas and Natalia, are constantly improving their offering year on year, and have plans for more apartments with their own private pools for 2026 which sounds exciting. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Elounda Heights, and you are quite likely to re-book once you have stayed as the number of repeat guests are testament to."

"We bleef hier 4 nachten. Ik had een zeezichtkamer geboekt, maar ze zeiden dat het werd verbeterd naar een kamer met een jacuzzi. Terwijl de jacuzzi mooi en ontspannen was, was het zeezicht vrij beperkt, wat een beetje teleurstellend was. Het appartement is gelegen in een afgelegen en vreedzame deel van het eiland. Het heeft uitstekende internettoegang en een fatsoenlijke buitenschool. Omdat het recht aan de zee is, kunt u genieten van wandelen of lopen langs de kust naar de dichtstbijzijnde stad, Mavrikianon. Een belangrijk punt is dat het onroerend goed geen directe toegang heeft tot de zee. Om te zwemmen, moet u naar het Plaka Beach, dat een minimum besteding van €40 per persoon vereist om de zonbedden te gebruiken, of naar het Mavrikianon Beach, dat veel betaalbaarder is voor €5 per persoon de hele dag. Mavrikianon Beach is zeer aangenaam en dicht bij de markten waar u drinken kunt kopen. Er zijn ook goede voedsel- en drankplaatsen in de buurt, zoals Rudi’s Bar, een Britse pub en Porto Rino, die geweldige pizza's serveert. Zorg ervoor dat je Nico's Fish Tavern overslaat en de Ferryman probeert in plaats daarvan. Wat we het meest frustrerend vonden was het gebrek aan mosquitoschermen op de ramen. Slaap met de ramen open was niet echt een keuze, hoewel de natuurlijke bries prachtig was. We hebben airconditioning, maar we slapen er vaak ziek mee. Er was ook een plafond fan, maar het is schaamte om uit te missen op de frisse lucht gewoon omdat een ontbrekende scherm. Het ontbijt was ook teleurstellend, er waren maar weinig keuzes, de koffie was niet goed en de omeletten werden overkoken. Het meest onbeleefde deel van onze verblijf was het parkeersysteem. Je moet elke keer met veiligheid in en uit, die voelde overmatig en tijdverbruikt. Het bracht de indruk dat je een hoog veiligheidsgebied binnengaat, geen ontspannen vakantielocatie. Over het algemeen was het een goede ervaring met een aantal mooie kenmerken, maar voor de prijs is het in een paar belangrijke gebieden niet comfortabel en comfortabel. - Waar is de heer Van den Broek?"

"My sister and I traveled to Crete for an annual birthday trip. Neither of us had been to Greece before and Elounda Mare and Crete did not disappoint. I cannot say enough positive things about the resort. It is stunningly gorgeous! The bungalows are spaced to maximize privacy and are beautifully appointed with marble and traditional Greek furnishings and decor. We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior bungalow with a private pool (Bungalow 1/1A). The location was amazing! It was an easy walk to the main pool (which we only used once since we had our own pool), the bar, breakfast restaurant and lobby area. My bathroom was 200+ square feet. Everything was a gorgeous marble, floors and walls alike. The closets were so elaborate and beautifully appointed my sister took pictures of how they were laid out as she was getting ready to do a remodel of hers. Our rooms were cleaned multiple times daily, including an evening turn down service. Our pool was spotless and the water was pleasantly refreshing. The pictures of this resort and the rooms truly do not do it justice. The grounds are immaculate and the flora and fauna are so interesting and lovely. There are so many serene, private places to just sit and enjoy the views. We visited the beach bar and chairs and loved them but really found the chairs on the rocks on the edge of the ocean were our shangri-la! We ate at all of the resorts restaurants as well as several of the sister resorts, all easily accessible by the resort's shuttle boat and the food was scrumptious at every one of them. The atmosphere at each restaurant is completely different, as is the menu, so be sure to venture out and try them all! The staff went over the top to accommodate every request, leaving us special gifts and treats in our rooms. The champagne breakfast started every day out right! The breakfast buffet was the best I have every experienced anywhere in the world. The variety allowed us to not be bored in the 11 days we indulged in the offerings. We only ordered off the breakfast menu once because we loved the buffet assortment so much. We were lucky enough to have a reservation at The Old Mill while a Michelin starred chef was visiting and had the most amazing meal we've ever had the privilege to enjoy. It was truly over the top, both visually and gastronmically! The staff greeted us by name every time they saw us. I have no idea how they memorize so many guests' names so quickly. George, the bartender, affectionately called us "his girls" each time we walked through the lobby (and we're in our upper 50's Lol!) and had a glass of champagne ready for us by the time we made it down the lobby steps to the bar. We were given a large bag of fresh oregano from one of the staff that I am still cooking with and it is so much sweeter than anything I've ever grown in the U.S. The resort does have a lot of walking on multiple levels, which might not be easy for those with mobility issues, but our villa was accessible by a ramp (albeit cob"

In de CL area wordt men extra verwend en dit geeft een andere dimensie aan het verblijf. - het hotel ligt tegen een steile heuvel, zelfs door jonge mensen (steil/hitte) moeilijk begaanbaar en en moet binnen het hotel ook gebruik maken van een shuttlebus die soms 10-15’ op zich laat wachten. In het begin had men ons een verkeerde kamer toegewezen, dit werd gecorrigeerd maar dit betekende dat wij 2 nachten een kamer heeft gegeven beneden betaalde categorie."
