Olas Permanentes El Zonte

The hotel was under construction, but despite that, the facilities were really poor. It was a shared (tiny) bathroom for 4 rooms. Toiled barely worked and the shower was cold. All that is fine if the price is low, but it was not a cheap hotel. I won't stay here again.

the hotel had no beach. It seems the sea level has risen and the beach disappeared. They down graded my room with no private bathroom and said that was what I booked. The food is excellent but the hotel is just so-so

Good: Location was not in the main area but in a good spot with parking and ocean access, short walk to caves. Food was good and decently priced. Free breakfast in the morning was limited to 4 options but tasty. Onsite surf and boogy board rentals. Bad: Closes up earlier than expected, food and drinks ended around 9-10.

Room was clean staff friendly, restaurant litle slow but food was good. Overall everything was excellent.

The staff is friendly and attentive, though they can be hard to reach during busy periods. While the accommodations are functional, they are very basic. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment; after a poor experience at our first included breakfast, we chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. To make matters worse, we were charged for that breakfast at checkout despite it being part of our package. The amenities are also quite limited—the pool is tiny, with only three lounge chairs, and because the restaurant is open to the public, the area was often crowded with non-guests and sand from the beach. It’s an okay stay for the price, but I wouldn’t return.

This place make you feel like you second home / vacation home in El Salvador. The location is perfect and security make you rest at ease. The staff help you enjoy the moment and they will find a solution to any issue you might have. Planning for the next trip. Thank you for allowed me to be your guest.

Good location on the beach. Other than that there was only negatives. I couldn’t get in when I arrived from a delayed flight despite reaching out earlier in the day. The AC did not work and there was no response when I mentioned this to them on WhatsApp. The bathroom had hair all over the shower and clearly had not been cleaned.

The room was nice and clean, the A/C worked great, the food and service were excellent, and the location on the beach was perfect. I'm only giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because there was no mention when booking that the shared bathroom didn't have hot water. I think it's unfair not to include that because it might affect some people's choice.

Great staff. Exceptional food. Unsurpassed location. Really good vibes. All kinds of amenities and good enough rooms. Would return. 10/10
