"Na licht verbrand te zijn heb ik gedoucht met de zeep in het hotel. Na deze douchebeurt heeft mijn hele lichaam de hele nacht ontzettend gejeukt. Ik heb hierdoor niet kunnen slapen. Nadat mijn vriendin in de ochtend mij andere zeep aanbood was de jeuk geheel verdwenen. Ik heb uiteindelijk nog 5 uurtjes kunnen slapen tot we uit moesten checken. De rest van het gehele hotel heb ik als prettig ervaren."

"Major renovation on the entrance and ground floor meant the cafe which was listed as a feature was under construction. There was no mention of the renovation at the time of booking. The roof terrace is a great feature but there was a private party on the evening we were there which occupied 80% of the space where all the best seating and views are. Felt cheated so will not return to this hotel"

"I stayed at Can Cocollona for three days during my trip to Girona, and I really enjoyed my stay there 🦋 The hostel is very close to the train and bus station, which was perfect for me because I arrived by bus. It was easy to find and very convenient. At the same time, the area is quiet and nice, so I could relax after a long day of walking around the city. The price was affordable and totally worth it. The breakfasts were tasty and quite big — there were sandwiches, croissants, eggs, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was a great way to start the morning before going out to explore Girona. I also liked that my room had a balcony - it was a small detail, but it made the stay even better. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for me. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out all the time. The best part for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the other guests were open and nice. I felt comfortable and welcome there!"

"Stayed at El Porxo for two nights after our son's wedding in Girona. I have never stayed in a B&B so clean and tidy. Incredible. Clearly a huge amount of effort goes into the daily upkeep. The owners must have spent a lot of money on this place as it was incredible. The grounds were immaculate too. Very homely feel inside as well. Chabby, the owner, is a superb host - very friendly and helpful. The pool has plenty of sunbeds and shade too. Breakfast was delicious too. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended"
