"Het hotel is mooi en mooi. Het is een goede locatie en dicht bij parken. Dienst kan beter zijn, voelde niet echt de aanwezigheid van het personeel, zeer standaard service - ik zette slechts 4 sterren omdat de persoon die ons aanbood om ons rond te rijden in de bug, sorry zijn naam vergeten, maar hij was oorspronkelijk uit Hongkong. De kamers waren mooi en schoon, de spa-faciliteiten waren ook mooi en er is een binnenzwembad dat kinderen op specifieke tijdstippen kunnen gebruiken. De kinderen waren ook mooi? Ze hadden elke dag iets voorbereid en de veehouderij was mijn dochters favoriete, omdat je kunt vee en borstvoederen paarden, konijnen, duiven, geiten, konijnen enz."

"Been here a few times and the hotel is lovely. Great service and amazing grounds. Unfortunately, can’t ignore the noise from the M25 directly at the end of the gardens. And one of the robes hadn’t been cleaned from a previous guest."

For Students Only Hox Park

"Hox Park has generally been an okay stay. The rooms are decently sized with a good size bathroom (I stayed in the £235/week room). Amenities are also good with a gym and central hangout/ study area. However, below are my concerns if you are looking at this residence for your future studies. 1) Room heating The room heating is subpar during winter months, as you are given an electric wall heater that is so far from the bed it is almost invisible. 2) Kitchen (if sharing) The oven, from my experience, does not have a working fan element and takes at least double the time for food. The counter space is also terribly small for how many people are in the flat: space is a 'luxury'. 3) WiFi The WiFi at Hox Park was great with speeds of up to 800mbps (ethernet). On recent 'upgrades', the WiFi now peaks at just below 200mbps, OR you can pay an additional £20 a month for 300mbps? For the already £235/week, this management decision is utterly disgraceful. So if you are a student looking for accommodation that is 30/min walk from Royal Holloway (however there is an hourly bus), WiFi at shockingly low speeds with a repulsing pay-to-play service for a measly 100mbps more, and a small kitchen space (note: with no cleaners) - then this place is for you!"
