Amazing experience from A to Z Arrived at Hotel with fantastic parking spaces and ability to charge the car. Receptionist upon check-in have been super accommodating and professional, she was helpful, smiley and very complimenting thank you Pauline!!! Room was immaculate, contained very sustainable material with amazing and spacious layout and fantastic view. Huge thanks to all housekeeping staff without exception. They prepared baby cot to our daughter with bathrobe, slippers and shampoo, conditional and lotion with some wonderful toys as well!! During the stay, they did a wonderful job day in day out with refreshing and preparing a very welcome room. Huge thanks to the F&B team at both bar and room service. They placed amazing fruits basket upon arrived with a lovely letter. Bar staff, they were smiley, professional and very accommodating, playing with our daughter and asking always if we needed help etc and making the best food and drinks with special shout-out to Eike for being amazing dusting our visits! Breakfast staff were very nice despite how busy the area is during that weekend and they have ensured to seat it somewhere quiet and prepare baby seat for our daughter, they were attentive with coffee, eggs and everything else, thank you for your hard work! Lobby, wonderful and luxury layout with amazing atmosphere, concierge / bellman Bashir or Rachid ( please excuse my spelling) was a very wonderful guy, he was chatty and funny even our daughter was running toward him, you are so kind! Lastly, we had to checkout after amazing stay to be helped by one in a million receptionist her name is Paula if am not mistaken on 28th May around 13:00! Location is fantastic, hotel is wonderful and everything else is spot on. Suitable for families, corporates and leisure!! Thank you to all the staff!!!!

A little late review since we (my wife and I were in Düsseldorf last June 2019) The Red: Very stylish apartments are clean and very quietly furnished. Super location in Düsseldorf next to the Rhine. Many restaurants and cafes around the corner. Short walk to the old town. Super friendly staff go every way to feel right at home. Ever again.

We went there for a long weekend and we had a fantastic time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very efficient. The duty manager Mr. Mueller had done on fantastic job on us so traveling with a toddler was easy. Very nice food as well - room service was quite fast and breaky was yummy. Don't forget to visit little Tokio - stunning restaurants there. Ask the famous concierge for recommendations - he knows where to go. We had a fab time so thanks to all who make it happen!!!

Very nice hotel right in the center of Dusseldorf. Staff is very friendly and rooms were large and clean. We traveled with our 3 year old and there was plenty of room for him to play. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was the usual European style breakfast buffet with yummy food The hotel has dedicated indoor parking, which is very helpful in such a busy city. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and I would definitely stay here again in the future. In terms of local activities, it was easy to reach the waterfront, old center, shops and the park from the hotel. We were also able to visit all chrismas markets easily by foot from the hotel.

Friendly staff that all spoke English. The location felt safe and was very quiet but still central. The room was nice enough and had enough space, and the hotel was comfortable with some artistic design. My room faced towards the direction of the old town but was silent at night, and quiet during the day even with the windows wide open. Plenty of hot water, but the towels were small and cheap. A coffee expresso machine in the room with coffee but no tea. The hotel looked a bit tired in places but nothing to worry about and repairs were ongoing. Unfortunately the advertised computer I needed was missing apparently broken. This was unacceptable and my only real complaint. No garden seating area. The breakfast was good with enough to choose from including hot food, but it finished early at 10:30. The English black tea wasn’t and was horrible, so British tea drinkers bring tea yourself. If passing I’d stay here again for sure.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. The staff were polite and accommodating as we did arrive earlier and managed to get a room and we were also very kindly and free of charge granted a later check out. The location is certainly central and there is easy access to public transport. However, this is not a boutique hotel, at least in the rooms themselves. While the communal areas looked nicely decorated and stylish, our room did not in the slightest meet the same standard. We stayed in room 336 and allow me to itemise a few maintenance items that need attending to: reading light not working as was damaged; side lamp only had the one bulb, tiles in bathroom about to come loose and clearly a lovely water stain by the air con vent. None of these impeded a comfortable sleep or an adequate stay, however they did make the room look tired and not worth its value. Ah and when got a call to the room we were unable to take said call as the phone cord came loose. We attempted to put it back but still the phone would not work. We were prepared for the room being small and it certainly was small and did the job, Lastly, If parking on site do be prepared for tight corners and bends. Anything larger than a Mini does require some manoeuvring and care, you may well come out of the parking with scratches on your side, as you will notice by the many scratches left by previous drivers on the walls.

The price-quality ratio is excellent!!! A full-fledged chunk for more than an acceptable price (the number of two 51 euros - and this is on a pink Monday carnival in Dusseldorf). I don't know, maybe people were scared of the weather and because of this we were lucky with the price. At any rate, convenience was at the height. And full breakfast for only 7.5 euros (for Germany it is cheap) above all praise. With marinated cucumbers you can get mad.

The hotel has just been taken over by Clayton. We could no longer freely use the swimming pool. It would now cost 15 euros pp. The room was neat, the toilet very low. Breakfast was fine. The range of food was a bit limited for us and also pricey. Service at the bar was fine.

This was our 3rd stay while my husband was in Dusseldorf on business. We were so pleased to see some of the staff was back after Covid, as they always make our stay so pleasant. Zeinab is the hostess with the mostest, and Marcel and Tommy are excellent chefs, serving a delicious breakfast. Tommy even made me a special little cake for my birthday! Every evening Sabina, who has a winning personality, would serve us drinks at the bar and dinner a couple of evenings. Everyone goes out of their way to meet our needs and make us feel welcome. The hotel is very comfortable with every amenity needed. The location is close to several excellent restaurants, a little market, and a lovely walk to sit alongside the Rhine River. The Altstadt is a little bit of a trek but very doable. If you need an excellent taxi driver, have the desk staff call Mahmud.

If you stay in Dusseldorf more than 1 month, I will definitely recommend this apartmenthaus. I know you are unfamiliar in Dusseldorf, but the location is very central, nearby Carlsplatz. If you are foody, you can directly go to the bakery (HINKEL) or Casa Luigi (Italian restaurant) within 30 sec. Munstermann is also located in the same street.

Die JH Düsseldorf ist eine typische City-Herberge. Sie liegt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, was zweischneidig ist: einerseits darf man (auf dieser Seite des Gebäudes) nicht gerade lärmempfindlich sein, andererseits liegt die Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Die andere Gebäudeseite liegt in Richtung Rhein, auf den man auch vom Frühstücksraum einen schönen Ausblick hat. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und (selbst für JH-Standard) eher klein, gleichfalls das Bad. Positiv: Bad und WC sind getrennt, was Familien zu schätzen wissen. Das Essen ist reichhaltig aber qualitativ nur durchschnittlich. Das fängt bei den Brötchen an und reicht bis zum Dessert. Aber ok, denn für den Preis wird wohl kaum jemand höchste Gaumenfreuden erwarten, es ist in Ordnung. Als sehr störend empfinde ich die vegetarische Zwangsbeglückung: soll doch jeder wählen, was er will. Aber nein, an zwei Tagen in der Woche wird man bevormundet und soll zum fleischlosen Essen erzogen werden - eine alberne Attitüde...Mein persönliches Highlight jedoch war Putengeschnetzelte am ”Vega-Tag” - das war unfreiwillig komisch, Klasse! Stark verbesserungsfähig ist das Freizeitangebot und das Bistro. Wenn man abends nicht nochmal in die Stadt will, ist die JH einfach langweilig. Kein Billard, kein Dart, kein Tischtennis (nur draußen)...da müssen die Kids ja fast ans Handy. Und der Bistro-Bereich ist alles andere als einladend. Wir kennen wirklich nette Bistros in Juhes, wo man so manch gemütlichen Abend verbringen konnte (z.B. Pirmasens), aber hier? Alles in allem ”befriedigend” - ach ja: beim Check-In gab es noch eine Unstimmigkeit wegen des Preises. Vorab war die Rede von einem ”Angebotspreis”, von dem man bei Ankunft dann nichts mehr wissen wollte (Kollegin xy, die das gemailt hatte, sei halt noch neu...naja). Fand ich grenzwertig... Für einen Trip nach Düsseldorf durchaus ok, für uns jedoch keine Jugendherberge mit Wiederholungsaufforderung. Da sind wir - auch von Jugendherbergen - einfach besseres gewohnt.

Very good, the location is near the commercial street, and it is quite close to the subway station. The young lady at the front desk was very good and I stayed in advance. The room has a separate shower but the toilet is outside, but it is also very convenient. There are not many breakfast styles but there is no problem with eating. I had a 1 month stay and everything was perfect. The hotel is affordable, has daily cleaning services, and a very nice living area. The neighborhood is pretty central and safe. Train stop is just in front, bus stops pretty close. Staff very supportive. So far, perfect.
