"We had dinner here last night (26.6.26) in this lovely Inn. We had seafood salad and pressed ham hock for starters and we both had haddock and chips for mains. The food was beautifully presented and delicious with great service. We loved that local producers were supported throughout the menu. There is also a great beer garden out the back. We will definitely return and recommend."

"Ik blijf hier 2 nachten geleden. Ik werk bij Farne Salmon n Trout fabriek. Het hotel is een beetje moe, maar de decorateurs zijn nu in de slim op de plek. Hier blijven 2 nachten, 2 weken geleden. Terug voor 2 nachten nog. De kamer is gebroken, vooral de badkamer. Dit lijkt in handen als nieuwe eigenaars, ik geloof. Personeel zijn geweldig. Meisjes achter de bar zijn geweldig. Ontbijt meisje is gewoon de eerste klasse. Had een diner twee weken geleden. Hete eten op een koude plaat. Het spijt me, maar dat is niet zo. Vertelde Jan op mijn eerste bezoek. Tweede bezoek, hetzelfde weer. Eten is zo goed gekookt. In feite, het voedsel is bloedig briljant. Zo'n schande is mijn klacht op domme oren gevallen. Stop het warme voedsel op een koude plaat. Het warme voedsel probeert zo hard om het plaat op te warmen dat het op is, dat het koud is in 10/15 min. Een chef moet dat echt weten. Erg teleurstellend. Grote bar. Sky sport. Grote medewerker. Zo vriendelijk. Hiervoor krijgt u de eenvoudigste dingen goed. Het ontbijt meisje maakte vanmorgen het bord op, voordat ik het voedsel op zette. Het is zo gemakkelijk. Mijn enige moe hier. Mijn vriend Gordon R zou verschrikkelijk zijn. Ik heb een goed contract bij Farne op de weg. Ik ben vanavond bij de chippie, omdat ze geen koude plaat hebben."

The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need for your stay. Liz is very helpful and was available to answer any questions. It's a perfect place to stay for the Jim Clark Rally and I highly recommend it!"
