Xinwenyuan Hotel

I arrived fairly late and appreciated that my check-in was very easy. As others have said, the room door mechanism for the card reader was tempermental, but nothing serious. My Executive Queen Double room was a little smaller than expected, but it had everything - including a work desk (not a silly ledge facing a mirror) 😀 Washroom was fine, but I would say to those for whom mobility is an issue, the tub was a high step. Great comfortable bed. Cleaning lady was very keen and friendly, yet I would say that there were a few particles on the carpet, so I guess the vaccuming needs to be more thorough. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory. Front desk staff was very helpful at all times - through translation. I can recommend the massage place across the street - which is advertised as a hotel service. A comfortable, established place, just 3 km and 10 yuan from Dalian's railway station.

Not cheap, though old building with old equipment. Towls and bed clothes are worn and not clean. No idea how it got more than 4 out of 5 points. Won't come again.

Check in and check out processes were very fast and efficient. Breakfast just a typical Chinese foods. Can add in more variety especially western style foods. Bed was too soft bcos of additional piece of thick mattress protector.

The wifi not very effective as signal is weak and found Whatapp messages cannot be downloaded maybe is a common policy in China now

We stayed in this hotel for a few days while our trip to Dalian. There are some good restaurants nearby, a few sights to see in the area, too. As for the accommodation, there was a little problem with All the doors in our room. The bathtub is quite small, but clean. There’s no English speaking staff in the hotel. The location is just fine. 20 min by taxi from the airport. Chinese style buffet breakfast, but the food is good and satisfying. The overall impression is quite positive. P.S. there is no gym or a swimming pool as it’s mentioned in the hotel description. Also, if your main purpose is to relax on the beach, then it’s not the best option as most beaches are far and the ones nearby are not worth it.

good location to the financial district. Nice staff and easy to get to. lots of Korean and Japanese restaurants within walking distance. nothing fancy but usable.

來大連旅遊的，選擇這家酒店本來是看中地理位置的，在市區，去哪裡玩都方便，沒想到酒店的服務也是很棒的，酒店有保安給找車位，車位都是免費的，前台小姑娘F15也很認真，服務態度很好，點贊！聽説酒店房間新裝修的，很乾凈，衞生間乾濕分離非常方便，床墊子也軟，睡的很舒服，非常值得推薦！
