"Dit was mijn derde keer naar Kieviets en elke keer, het wordt beter en beter, en ons verblijf is zo een koninklijke behandeling. Dit wijnbouwbezit is zo een rustige en ontspannen plek. Het Granita-restaurant is de plaats om te eten. Ik neem altijd 11 grove menu's, de kok gaat altijd uit en overschrijdt haar verwachtingen met haar menu's. Het ontbijt is te sterven voor. Een volledige verspreiding van alles. Vers, heerlijk en oh zo smaakvol tot perfectie. Het spa met alle zwembaden, saunas, jacuzzi, stoombad, koude zwembad en de meerdouche hoofddouche, is alles en je wilt niet verlaten. Kieviets Kroon is de plek om te zijn, voor de jongeren in het hart en voor de ervaren ouderen. Wij houden van deze plek en van alle management, receptiepersoneel, uitvoerend schoonmaakpersoneel, koks, wachters, net zo speciaal en gezegend zijn bijna elke medewerker. Bedankt Kieviets Kroon voor een behandeling 10-Star. Je verdient nog twee sterren voor je eerlijke status."

"Perfectly located in the Dinokeng Reserve, easy to get to various parts of reserve for game drives. Small lodge but peaceful, and good facilities. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Would happily go back again"

"We stayed at this hotel on 6 April 2026 for one night and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Firstly, the air conditioning in the room did not work at all. The room felt like an oven, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in, especially after a long day of travelling. To make matters worse, the sliding door could not open, so there was no ventilation whatsoever. The television was not working, and there was no fridge in the room, which is something you would reasonably expect from a hotel. When we asked for ice, we were told we would have to pay R30 just for an ice bucket – unbelievable, considering the R1 678 we paid for the one-night stay. Another issue was that there was no hot water because the geysers in our block was off. This meant we could not even shower. Maintenance came to the room and confirmed all the faults, so these were clearly known issues. Reception then offered to move us to another room, but by that time it was too late – my son had already fallen asleep on the bed without being able to shower after a long day. Overall, this was a horrible experience and extremely disappointing. The room was clearly not properly checked or maintained before guests arrived. We will never book with this hotel again and would strongly advise others to reconsider before staying here."
