"We were visiting south Italy and our flights had an overnight stay in Rome. I ended up booking a room at Villa Alma for the night as it is close to the airport. The taxi from the airport dropped us at the entrance to the street instead of driving us to the front of the building. The driver was also rude and dismissive. It was late when we arrived. So about 10:30pm. Normally check in to Villa Alma closes at 9pm but the owner (Opi??) was waiting for us outside to guide us to the building. Since the taxi did not take us all the way to the door, we were not clear which building to go to but Opi waiting for us outside really helped. Opi was furious that the taxi driver was rude and also made us walk. When we told him what we paid for the ride, he told us he overcharged us and that was wrong. He said he was planning to go to the airport in the morning so he could drop us off as well. We went for a walk and had dinner. This is a nice neighborhood with a canal running through it. It has bridges over it. The view is nice. Also there are plenty of restaurants and bars open in very easy walking distance. We enjoyed our walk a lot. It seems this neighborhood has some festivals in summer so it might be good to go back. Anyway the room was clean, smelled good, well maintained and overall pleasant. We stayed at the room in the first floor (half a flight of walk up) Opi had a breakfast ready for us when we got up in the morning. He had juice, filled croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea etc. Overall I would say the breakfast was nice. He ended up driving us to the airport (along with somebody who works there) as he promised and refused to take money to make up for the bad treatment we had by the taxi driver the night before. We insisted but he refused it. Such a nice guy who made us feel good and happy to meet him. In general I prefer to not to write negative only reviews. But I made sure to write when somebody goes above and beyond. So in general this stay was definitely a good one."

"Deville en Spa is een mooi hotel, dat zeer rustig gelegen is, met een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Het hotel biedt zich perfect voor stellen en gezinnen met oudere kinderen, die zich kunnen gedragen aan het zwembad. De kamer die wij hadden was een mooie, ruime kamer en voldeed aan de verwachting, al zou ik wel aanraden om een kamer te vragen op het 3de of een kamer aan de kant van het zwembad, wij lagen op het 2de en zagen op een dak met zonnepanelen met daarachter het meer. Tips voor het huishoudpersoneel; - gebruik antical, na het douchen waren en duidelijk nog oude kalksporen aanwezig - toilet proper maar had snel een gele aanslag - grondig afstoffen van de zwarte tegels, deze trekken stof aan en door de belichting was dit zeer duidelijk =＞ laat dit je niet afschrikken de kamer was echt proper en qua hygiene krijgt het zeker een 9/10 Het zwembad is heel mooi en zeer rustig. Het water is aan de koude kant, maar dit is niet erg op een warme dag en werkt zeer verkoelend. Je kon aan het zwembad, snacks en drankjes bestellen al moest je wel zelf je best hiervoor doen, spontaan kwam er niemand langs. De wellness is prachtig en een echte aanrader. Het ontbijt was prima maar elke dag hetzelfde, je kon zelf nemen wat je wenste en op de tafel stond nog een menu met verschillende eiergerechten en andere. Maar de bediening vond ik zeer triestig. De dame die dit deed had steeds in het Italiaans commentaar of probeerde je op elke mogelijke manier te vermijden, zodoende ze geen bestelling moest opnemen. De koffie vond ik persoonlijk niet lekker, je kon dit of zelf nemen of laten bezorgen, al was dit dan ook tegen de goesting van de serveerster. 'S avonds kan je dineren in het restaurant, de eerste avond hadden we een voor- en hoofdgerecht genomen, het voorgerecht was prima, het hoofdgerecht was bij ons beide tegengevallen. De t****e avond hadden we meer succes en was zowel het voor en hoofgerecht zeer lekker. Dessert hebben we niet genomen. =＞ algemeen vind ik dat als je er een week zit, je hier weinig variatie hebt en het vrij duur is om hier elke avond te gaan eten, na 2x heb je het wel gehad Bediening algemeen in de dag en het restaurant is zeer afstandelijk en mist een aangename klik. De receptioniste daar in tegen was wel zeer aangenaam. Parking wagen: Perfect! Ik vermoed dat ik er wel nog eens naartoe zou gaan, maar mocht het terug hetzelfde zijn met het personeel dan zou dit toch de laatste maal zijn."

"We booked a room for 7 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but after entering the room I realized they had assigned us the wrong room, so I immediately reported it. They told us they would add a bed in the living room. (Therefore, not honoring our reservation.) The bed arrived 5 hours later, despite constant reminders. We were shown a sofa bed that wasn't there, but we found camp beds. The check-in process was long (40 minutes) and full of errors (lost documents, failed delivery of beach towel delivery tickets, etc.). The older receptionist in particular was truly rude, arrogant, and disruptive, so much so that she was reported to the manager for her unacceptable behavior toward guests and even rudely addressed my 14-year-old sister. She can do that to someone else. - There was a bat nest on our terrace, and when we woke up, it was full of excrement. - We ordered food to eat in our room, and everything was disgusting and burned, from the pizza to the burgers (they looked like they were made two hours ago and then reheated). - We asked for room service for coffee and were told it wasn't available. It's absurd not to be able to have coffee in a 4-star hotel. - The toilet kept blocking itself. - Uncomfortable beds, soft mattresses. - We got an electric shock using the hair dryer in the bathroom. - At 9:00 AM, the cleaning lady called asking what time we were leaving when checkout was at 10:00 AM. Some guests were woken up while they were still sleeping. I've been coming to this place for years, but I will absolutely never come again, and I will never recommend it."

"We were made to feel special in the beautiful hotel- the team were very helpful and met our every need - a very tranquil place to relax and enjoy lovely food and wine. Our room was E beautiful and the aircon was superb in 39 degree heat - the pool is just right . Plenty of loungers not too close together with a bonus of service for drinks and lunch by the poolside . The open air restaurant is excellent with huge sun canopy’s when needed. Again plenty of space and very attentive team - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend a stay here."

"dit voelt al jaren als thuiskomen, zeker na de slechte ervaring in Ehrwald. Van receptie tot bij het zwembad, alles goed geregeld, en ander gewoon even vragen. Ontbijt als altijd, uitgebreid, royaal, vriendelijk, buitenterras. Wat wil je verder nog op vakantie. SPA en binnenzwembad, alles even voorkomend, vriendelijk en zorgvuldig ingericht."
