"Stayed at Wheatsheaf in twin room, it was absolutely freezing. Unable to shower as the bathroom was like a fridge. There was no soap in the bathroom. We were the only guests staying that night & it seemed like we weren't catered for at all . We had lunch on the afternoon of our arrival, good food, but again the dining room was freezing. There are much cosier places in Corbridge."

"Just booked for a second time for Sunday (16th) lunch. Food (carvery) very good but for second week, no draught beer!! To top that, no bottled Newcastle Brown previouslt served as an alternative, this week, either! Not a good advert as to how to run a (potentially good) pub. The staff as mentioned by other critics have observed a couldn't care less attitude. While we were there a quartet of diners left without ordering!"
