The Last Word Constantia

"My husband and I, based on numerous recommendations, chose to stay at The Last Word, Constantia. The staff were amazing, so incredibly friendly and kept up with my husband’s copious questions about the area, where to go, where to eat, the history of the area, you name it, he asked it and they answered. The room was beyond expectations, the bathroom was absolutely beautiful, the bed was ridiculously comfortable and with our own lounge area, going home to reality was very tough. While we loved the local wine farms and restaurants, the hotel breakfast was so generous and delicious, we struggled to push on through to lunch and dinner. Highly recommended and please say hi to Tiffy the hotel Cat for me."

"Heerlijk guesthouse op een centrale plek in Constantia. Zeer gastvrije en flexibele eigenaresse en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ruime kamers, heerlijke bedden en heerlijk ontbijt. Vanaf het guesthouse zijn de restaurants in een paar minuten per Uber te bereiken. De drankjes uit honestybar zijn zeer goedkoop.."

"Zeer mooie Lodge Dicht bij Groot Constantia Onze kamer was iets aan de kleine kant maar had wel een mooi terras Je moet wel trappen kunnen doen Prachtig intérieur, je waant je op een filmset,recht uit de decoratiemagazines Zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame host Ontbijt op het terras in de morgenzon was fantastisch Enig minpuntje:moeilijk om te vinden,niet te snel rijden of je kan omkeren.....!!!"

"Lovely guest house in beautiful surroundings. The pool is lovely for a refreshing swim, the Continental breakfast is perfect, and the room is clean, laundry service is great, and it’s like a home from home. Refreshments available at any time, and host gives good recommendations for visits and walks etc. Highly recommend."

"Prima, zeer ruime kamer en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeker de grote airfyer oven vonden wij fijn om te gebruiken. Alles goed schoon en de kamer wordt ieder dag nagelopen. De gastheer Ian is niet alleen grappig, maar ook zeer behulpzaam waar nodig. Sia heeft voor ons de koffers naar ons verblijf gebracht en ook weer naar de auto. Prima service dus!"

"Stayed for two nights. Unfortunately this is not a 5 star at all. We always willing to pay the extra for 5 star boutique hotel experience this is nowhere near. It’s a large b and b with a basic breakfast offering with small buffet table and limited choice. The breakfast itself is not great. Even coffee espresso machine in room has no sweeteners or closed milks instead a small jar open milk in fridge is supplied very small and fake pods for coffee machine which is confirms this a b b not 5 star offering. Service and staff need training. Rooms are basic but spacious. Rooms Need for revamp for 5 star boutique hotel again the experience vs price- rather do a b and b and save the money or look at alternatives."
