"The photos do not do it justice, we booked here for our honeymoon and are we glad that we did! The service is exceptional, the food is incredible. On arrival we had a personal tour of the grounds, we were checked on early too. We didn't want to leave to explore cape town! We wanted to stay there the whole time! They have an excellent vegan menu, just ask for it when they seat you. Room service was incredible, we also met the local ducks and the grounds tortoise Ferguson who we found in the vineyard. We used the spa facilities and highly recommend. They do daily shuttles free to V&A waterfront and also to Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens. We'll definitely be coming back"

"Deze accommodatie is geweldig! Onze maandagochtend uit Kaapstad is slechts een 25 minuten rijden. Het personeel is zo vriendelijk en helpt met alle vragen die u hebt. Mijn moeder en ik hadden twee kamers - beide waren grote kamers met moderne meubels en hebben koelkast voor uw wijn :) Er is een mooi zwembad met handdoeken en zonneblokken en een eerlijke bar voor drankjes. Ontbijt beschikbaar hier, hoewel we het niet hebben. Beau Constantia wijngaard en Constantia Glen zijn gemakkelijk te lopen (5-10 min), maar ubers zijn ook gemakkelijk te nemen. Het uitzicht is verbazingwekkend en het was zo ontspannen begin van onze vakantie dat ik al een terugkeerbezoek heb geboekt voor twee nachten in november met een vriend!"

"Having just stayed at the Plet in Plettenberg bay, our favourite hotel, I have to say The Last Word is very much up there. Service is second to none, the room huge and it was a bonus to have an outside area to sit in to have a gin from our own gin station ! Breakfast was excellent, even buffet lovers like us found it pretty good ! Hard to fault and will certainly return if we come back to SA."

The 'suite' we had for the second stay was superior to the first one but both were more than adequate. The service was excellent and the breakfast, on a terrace overlooking the garden, was particularly good. The hotel has a very 'homely' feel."

"Prima, zeer ruime kamer en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeker de grote airfyer oven vonden wij fijn om te gebruiken. Alles goed schoon en de kamer wordt ieder dag nagelopen. De gastheer Ian is niet alleen grappig, maar ook zeer behulpzaam waar nodig. Sia heeft voor ons de koffers naar ons verblijf gebracht en ook weer naar de auto. Prima service dus!"

"We booked two rooms, which were generally quite nice in terms of amenities, but... the service was a complete disaster! We were treated as a nuisance, even though we arrived late in the afternoon. Half-drunk drinks were still in the fridge, and there was no water in the rooms. We had to eat breakfast inside because the young waitress didn't feel like setting up the table on the terrace, so it was a mess."
