"From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave everything and everyone is perfect. Our room (number 4) was enormous. It is basically one very large room with a lounge area and then the bedroom area and then the bathroom with a sliding door so it can be shut off. There are doors opening onto the garden and swimming pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is plenty of choice for breakfast with anything cooked freshly prepared. In summary a fantastic place to stay."

Vanaf het guesthouse zijn de restaurants in een paar minuten per Uber te bereiken. De drankjes uit honestybar zijn zeer goedkoop.."

"The Cellars-Hohenhort is a lovely place to stay in the Constantia area. It was a quick drive from Cape town International airport. We used the official taxi stand and the price to get there was 550 Rand. The property is so beautiful and the staff is really nice. We are Hilton diamond and no upgrade was available. We booked on points and had the lowest level room. It was up on the the third floor and there is no lift. Luckily, the bell staff carried our luggage up. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. We could see in to some of the other rooms during the cleaning service and they looked like they had really nice views. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We missed seeing the resident tortoise outside so we may need to make another trip to South Africa."

De gastheer Ian is niet alleen grappig, maar ook zeer behulpzaam waar nodig. Sia heeft voor ons de koffers naar ons verblijf gebracht en ook weer naar de auto. Prima service dus!"

"We hadden twee kamers geboekt die over het algemeen heel netjes waren ingericht, maar... de service was een complete ramp! We werden behandeld alsof we een lastpost waren, ondanks dat we laat in de middag aankwamen. Halflege drankjes stonden nog in de koelkast en er was geen water op de kamers. We moesten binnen ontbijten omdat de jonge ober de tafels niet op het terras wilde dekken, dus het ene probleem volgde het andere op."
