"This was my 3rd stay here. I’ve stayed in the tipis with family and landpods with friends. Tipis are a little bigger and good for younger children. The rainy weather forecast for the weekend threatened to put a dampener on our plans, but the site is in a great location and facilities are great so that the rain didn’t ruin our weekend. Staff were very helpful and accommodating allowing us to check in slightly earlier which was a bonus! The self catering kitchen was immaculate (ovens and fridges -no freezers-too). Considering they must be used a lot, the upkeep is impressive! Nice hot showers available. A lovely walk to the lake."

"Een geweldige familieweek op deze prachtige locatie op de banken van Coniston. We hebben een goed Swallows en Amazone avontuur gehaald, zeilen naar Wild Cat (Peel) Island en klimmen The Old Man of Coniston. De boerderij is perfect gelegen voor alle avonturen, en we waren zo goed op zoek. Fabelachtige gasten, geweldige ontbijt, een geweldig bbq pakket en een uitstekende zondags toast. We zullen zeker plannen om terug te komen!"

The Sun

"A beautiful little hotel, I think there are only 6 rooms though. All staff were on hand for any queries and help in any way they can. During my stay it was lovely and sunny and they have an outdoor area idea for a while in the sun 😂. If you have any sort of disability and find it difficult to climb stairs this place is probably not for you, no lift in the hotel and all rooms are upstairs, the car park is at the back of the hotel with steps up to the hotel that has a hand rail but the few steps into the hotel doesn’t. I was in room 6, 3 lots of stairs to negotiate but the view was spectacular."
