"The hotel is situated across the river from Benodet, and is a convenient location for touring the area and enjoying the location. The building appears to have been modernised and now offers very comfortable rooms. The bed was large and comfortable, and the shower room was large - very enjoyable. However the room lacked some comfortable chairs, and espresso coffee was the only beverage available. A good breakfast was offered in the downstairs breakfast room. We did not eat in the restaurant, as we considered it to be too expensive. Overall, it is a pleasant hotel, but overpriced for what is on offer."

"Lovely setting and nice rooms with view over river. Breakfast average for 15 euros. No air conditioning. Our stay was somewhat marred by discovering after a long day out that the bar and restaurant area was booked out for a private party. Staff were quite rude about telling us we couldn't even have a drink. The party went on way longer than advertised. All they needed to have done is tell us at breakfast that we wouldn't be welcome until 8pm. Disappointing that hotel guests get treated so shabby. Otherwise a really nice place."
