"Berd’s is een briljante plek om te blijven in Chișinău. De kamers zijn goed ingericht en hebben alles wat je nodig hebt, en de bar, restaurant (je moet hier eet tenminste eenmaal tijdens je verblijf het eten is goddelijk) en het spa alles toevoegen aan wat al een zeer goed hotel is. Waar het echter echt uitvalt, is het personeel. In honderden hotels heb ik nooit een dienst ontmoet heel zoals het bijzondere credit aan Nelu en Anton, die buitengewoon waren overal. We waren op bezoek voor mijn vaders verjaardag en ze gingen goed uit om de reis goed te maken. Wanneer we vragen hadden of iets nodig hadden, waren ze beschikbaar op WhatsApp en antwoordde onmiddellijk, altijd met handige aanbevelingen of in staat om dingen voor ons te boeken wanneer nodig. Dat niveau van dienst is de reden dat we absoluut terug zullen zijn bij ons bezoek aan deze prachtige stad.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Bedankt voor het maken van het een echt speciaal bezoek."

"Positives- —Brand new hotel! Everything is in pristine condition. —Very central location on the Dr main boulevard in the city - most of what you want to see is within a 15 minute walking distance or less —Nice design esthetic - modern minimalist I’d say. —Great water pressure —Plentiful hot water —Friendly Front Desk staff —Being that the hotel is in the central part of city - lots of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and even a small mall across the street —Free 24/7 gourmet coffee & tea. I’m not even a coffee drinker, but used it all the time —Nice size rooms —Lots of electric plugs (non USB though) —Great WiFi —Nice breakfast buffet (website said it was 6E extra, but it was included). Full selection including eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit juice, oatmeal with fruit. I absolutely loved that they had real eggs, and not the typical stuff made with powered eggs. —Lots of pics on the walls showing old time Chișinău —Forget something? Besides there being a small mall across the street, 1-2 blocks away is the Central Market with “a thousand” booths selling virtually everything. —The Front Desk will arrange a private tour of the city (very reasonable price). Negatives- —Although located on a main street, it is slightly set back and behind a metal gate - it’s hard to find and also see it’s a hotel. —No phone in the room (such as to call the Front Desk) —No cable TV. Yes, there is a TV in the room, but it’s only preloaded with the various steaming services to load your own account. —The room has black out curtains plus a white sheer. Strangely, there was no middle part in the white sheer so you could not open the curtains to clearly see the outside (and the white sheer could not be moved aside) Summary- —There are free walking tours during the high season, and on the weekends during the low season. There’s also a city tour via a trolly (bus) operating on the weekends. —I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Amazing breakfast! Everything was homemade, unique, delicious and we looked forward to it. Great location, just a 15 min walk from downtown. Helpful staff-even found us converters because we forgot ours. Heater was in the bathroom which we didn't discover till the 2nd night so were a bit cold the first one but overall a great place to stay."

"Ik vond alleen het personeel 100% aardig. Het ontbijt is erg lekker 🫶🏻 We kregen een tweepersoonskamer, die pal naast de receptie lag. Dat was niet handig, want we konden iedereen horen komen en gaan, de mensen bij de receptie en in het restaurant, de schoonmaaksters. Het was dus onmogelijk om te ontspannen zonder de gedachte dat iedereen ons ook kon horen. Ten t****e, als de deur naar de straat openging, sloeg onze deur ook dicht. En in onze kamer lagen haren in de badkamer, zaten er vlekken op het tapijt, stond er maar één stoel en waren er geen badjassen na het douchen. Het was erg moeilijk om het hotel zelf te vinden als je er voor het eerst te voet naartoe gaat. Het is beter om meteen een taxi te nemen 🙌"
