A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

The rooms are really beautiful and clean. We were showed to our room upon arrival and were welcomed with champagne and fruits in the room. Drinks in the fridge and snacks were complimentary and they had bathtub in the balcony. There may be bugs at night so do remember to close the balcony door. Public pool is small but nice, not much guests using it. The breakfast is so awesome with exquisite plating and good service, not to be missed. For afternoon tea, we only managed to try it on the first day as we were out the next few days. We were also gifted sandwiches when we were leaving, not to mention it was so nice. Will definitely visit again when I go Chiangmai.

Wow… where do I even begin. Firstly the hotel exteriors are beautiful. The pool is serene, the designs are lovely and traditional Thai style. The rooms are spacious with a large bed. Very quiet and great sleep even though we were jet lagged. Breakfast is superb, lots of choices even for vegetarians and vegans like us. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes from the airport, right by the old city, walking distance to a couple of night markets. The best part of our stay was the Loy Krathong festivities. We were lucky to be there during the period this year. In the morning the hotel would provide free Krathong making activities with delicious Thai snacks and desserts and in the evening provided food, music, the lucky draw, lantern decorations, and all the Loy Krathong activities. Where we felt the service went above and beyond was during this evening party. We had come to Chiang mai to see our Thai side of our family including our 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair. She’s been sick for a while. She as well as our two other family members were allowed to participate and eat and dance for free of charge even though they didn’t have to do that. Furthermore the staff made sure that she had a great time - we haven’t seen yai (Thai word for grandma) this happy in so long especially since she got sick. She was dancing and smiling in the wheelchair! The lady who MC’d as well as the security guard went above and beyond. And all the staff there (there were tens of them!) even waved in a line as her car left. The other members of the family said that we must come back here next year for Loy Krathong so that’s what we will do. Thank you again to all the staff. You made the stay very special, made my family feel emotional.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stayed only for one night at the end of the year. Close to the southeast corner of Old Town. Convenient location with night market close. Yellow outer wall is a marker. It took time to check in. It is said that there is no reservation name, and it is guided that it is a mistake of the nearby Channing Mai Boutique Hotel, and it is still suitable for the first Boutique House. When I pulled my luggage and asked at the front desk again, I was told that I didn't make a reservation and told the number of reservation site application and I had no mistake. I was very scorched even if I was told that there was no reservation at the end of the year. The room was in front of the 1F pool and I was saved because I had a big luggage so I put it without going up the stairs. When you open the door, the bed is at the door. The window is not a curtain but like a stained glass. Small but everything you need is all right and enough for one night. There is a sliding door between the bathroom and the shower with a glass door. It is also high that the toilet is divided between the sink and the left and right. Two water. There is a refrigerator. There is also a safety box. The power supply is also on the bed pillow side and is convenient for charging the smartphone. The road is right next to it and there is traffic volume and it is noisy 々, but there was almost no problem because there was no time to spend in the room only by sleeping. Most of them are European and American guests. The breakfast features are mainly European tastes. The breakfast is relatively monotonous. In our parent-child room on the third floor, the hair dryer in the room stopped when it was used. I suspect that it was an unstable voltage problem. The towels are very old. The highest third floor, no elevator. But the waiter will help bring the luggage to the third floor. This is quite considerate. No waiter can speak Chinese. Not as welcoming as a big hotel. The overall feeling is average. There is a pool and bathing pool that is not much bigger, okay, that's it. Everyone, look and choose

Thoroughly enjoyable stay here. We booked on the basis of the reviews here for our three day jaunt from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. We were not disappointed. The property is nicely appointed, clean, and airy. Comfortable lobby. Our third floor room was quiet, good air conditioning, and the bed made for good sleeping. Robes and slippers provided. Many channels on the television but we really did not have much time to watch. Medium size bathroom with spacious shower and good pressure. Over sink lighting is a tad dim though. Breakfast is between opens at 7 and runs for a couple hours. Mostly an Asian mix of food but eggs can be ordered to your specifications. While they do not advertise it, coffee can be drawn from the machine after dining hours (we used that a few times for poolside lattes). The pool is attractive but we found the water a bit too cold for our tastes. But it is a lovely venue to sit and relax. Overall we enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again at the first opportunity. Special thanks to Dai, who worked all of our front desk administration during the course of our stay; May who arranged all of our many excursions; Chokh (Samsak) who prepared our breakfast daily; and housekeeper Deuxn, who kept our room neat, tidy, and clean.

It is perfectly located, the rooms, bathrooms ans the outside area are super clean and well maintained.The owners are very care taking and helpful. They have a little outside area to sit and relax, with a small coffe bar. The Chiang Mai Gate, with a little food market in the evening and the stores you need, like 7Eleven, is just around the corner. The price for the rooms are more than fair. I really recommend this place for anybody who likes an easy going, relaxed place to stay.

An excellent building with lots of potential but it's been let go. Not good maintenance. Doesn't look like much interest from the owners. The wallpapers coming off the wall, no soap in the Standalone sink, only two large towels no face towels, the air conditioner is noisy, only one key to the room, it's a manual key and the door doesn't lock automatically you have to push the button. I never could figure out what the red arrow on the ceiling was the pointed to the corner of the room. I don't blame the staff, it looks like they're highly overworked. We left our room from 8:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon and we came back to a dirty room. We saw the staff cleaning across the way and ask them and they said there was so many people checking out and checking in they had no time they were still cleaning the other room.

I stayed at Villa Lantara for a week and loved it. Great location overlooking the Old City moat, close to bars and restaurants - Wua Lai Walking Street with its fabulous and cheap street food is a couple of minutes walk away - and 5 minutes walk away from Loi Kroh Road where you’ll find even more places to eat and drink and have a massage. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in one of their suites which are very large and comfortable with huge balconies looking over Bumrung Buri Road. Some of the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai are also nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

No breakfast. However, this hotel is a snack street and night market less than 150 meters away. I don't think there is a parking lot, but there are disadvantages. No slippers? Did n’t you see so many toiletries 6? This is all the toiletries. The TV does not have satellite TV, and there is only Thai cable. Foreign tourists simply treat TV as furnishings!
