You can enjoy the wood burning fireplace and proximity to Egg Harbor in the winter, watch the wild life come alive in the spring, relax after a day at the beach in the summer, and take in the seasonal colors and fall festivities!The house accommodates 4 people with full 1 bed and a queen pull out couch.We have high speed wifi that can stream TV. It includes a mesh router and 2 extenders to get wifi in and out of the house.The TV in the Living room is a Amazon Fire TV. You can download and log into any app and stream from your profile.Central heating & AirKitchen Amenities:The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Coffee Pot and Toaster. We also include some pots, pans, crockpot, strainers, cups, plates, mugs, wine glasses, Tupperware (please don't take), silverware and other basic baking suppliesWe do have a second unit on the property that could be rented to a separate group. This property is walking distance to Kangaroo Lake. Featured on Travel Wisconsin! NEW AC installed in April of 2019! I have two kayaks for rental as well. This is an A frame cabin with a loft area that has 3 beds. There is an additional bed downstairs. The backyard has patio and is completely secluded by trees that surround it. It is a short drive (roughly 10 minutes) to the shops, restaurants, ice cream/candy stores, and the Lake Michigan Harbor. There is so much around to do, kayak, snowmobile, ice fish, regular fishing, hiking, biking and so much more! It is available all year round with a cozy wood burner. The snowmobile trails run right through with plenty of parking on the lot. Across the street is a great restaurant/bar that hosts events and has delicious, reasonably priced food. This place is great for families, friends, or a couples getaway. Early check in is ONLY available if the cleaner gets it cleaned early. I will notify you if early check in is available the day of. I cannot guarantee early check in otherwise. Welcome to Land’s End, our happy place nestled at the edge of the forest. The house is just north of Sister Bay on an inlet of Lake Michigan called Rowleys Bay. This unique setting allows for rest and relaxation and the only noise you hear may be from the laughter of friends and family playing games, grilling, kayaking on Rowleys Bay or the Mink River, biking or gazing at the Milky Way near the marina. We have had many wonderful guests over the past 40 years. Our log home was built in 1984 with hand-hewn logs from the surrounding woods. As you enter the home with beams and walls covered in wood from an 1820's barn you begin to feel the stresses of everyday life melt away. The soaring 24 ft cathedral ceiling and grand stone fireplace welcome you into the family/dining area and the adjacent wall of windows looks out at the surrounding wilderness where deer, raccoons, squirrels and birds can be viewed from the comfort of the home. We have installed new ductless A/C in the main room on the first floor in 2022 for your comfort. New carpeting has been installed throughout the cabin in June 2024.If you want a little more entertainment, Sister Bay is less than 10 minutes away where there is a selection of restaurants, bars, a beach, boat and water sport rentals and shops. Don’t forget to get breakfast at Al Johnson’s and see the goats on the roof or end the day with a scoop of ice cream from Door County Ice Cream Factory or Door County Creamery. The house sleeps 8. It includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a King bed. The bathroom on the main floor has a shower and jacuzzi tub. There are two bedrooms on the second floor; one with a Queen bed and the other with 2 Twin beds. The bathroom upstairs has a bathtub/shower combination. The upstairs loft overlooks the family room and has a view into the forest with a Queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen has typical appliances as well as a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crockpot and all the utensils, cookery and plates/glassware you should need. The dining area has a table for 8 and 4 stools under the kitchen peninsula. The family room has a Smart TV with YouTubeTV and WIFI. Heating is electric so each room can be set individually. There is AC for the main area on the first floor and also have ceiling fans and extra fans in the closet.
