Met een verblijf bij Denali Wild Stay in Healy bevind je je op een kwartiertje rijden van Denali National Park en Tri-Valley Community Library. Dit huisje ligt op 20,3 km van Denali National Park Visitors Center en op 3,2 km van Black Diamond Golf Course. De accommodatie heeft een terras waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten, maar profiteer ook van gratis wifi en een picknickplaats. Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een snelle incheckservice en een snelle uitcheckservice. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen. Welcome to the Bear cabin! this small A-Frame is 8x12 feet but is configured to be comfortable and have all the essentials you need for a cozy, glamping experience. there is a full sized bed and a roll out bed. There's a kitchenette that's fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, cooking oil, salt & pepper and more. We also provide coffee & tea fixings as well.There is a private outhouse pit toilet with water & soap for hand washing provided. There is a small solar setup up for charging small like phones and tablets, but it's limited for sunny days.there is NO running water - we provide clean drinking & washing water, but there are no showers. You can pay $5 for a shower at the Vitus gas station or RV Park just a couple miles up the road. They also have laundry.There is a little outdoor area with a hammock, fire pit and camp chairs.The cabin is heated with a propane heater and we provide extra blankets for chilly nights. this stay is best for 2, but can accommodate a 3rd person. if you have a bigger group, ask us about our 2 other rentals!There are other guests usually on property so expect to see others, but you will still have plenty of privacy. This rental is Located at the home of Wildthingz Dog Mushing, professional sled dog team of Iditarod and Yukon Quest musher Richie Beattie and wife Emily Rosenblatt. We live with our 37 Alaskan Huskies and offer a summer sled dog tour. Ask us for details - we offer 20% off for our rental guests! well behaved dogs are welcome, but must be leashed at all times and notify us if you're bringing a dog please! The property is 30 minutes from Denali National Park, a perfect distance from the activities and trails you may be interested in exploring while getting out of the busier hub of tourism.You must have a vehicle to stay here. There is no public transportation, Lyft or Uber in the area so we recommend arranging a rental in anchorage/Fairbanks before arriving. A 15 minute hike to the lake for a viewing of Denali Mountain. Four wheel drive required for driving to cabin or parking below with a 15 minutes hike up the steep grated ridge road to cabin. A ride to the cabin for checking in and out is available from the lower parking area.Cabin provides a small refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, table for two, upstairs sleeping loft beds (two twin/single beds with sheets, blanket and pillow.Cabin heated with Toyo oil stove, electric outlets, A wash and gray water sink with 5 gals.water jug over the sink. There is a queen blow-up mattress available that is able to sleep two guests in this area. The sitting room, with a twin day bed and an additional twin mattress, opens to a private patio. Up a steep stairs, which adds to the experience, leads to the loft bedroom. The loft has a comfortable full bed, a futon, exhilarating views, and additional amenities. The kitchen is full service, with fridge, sink, microwave and stove. Off the main entrance deck, the mountain views are beyond description. The bathroom offers a sink, a water conservation shower, and a waterless Separett toilet. However, for those truly desiring the full Alaskan experience, there is an “elite” outhouse out back as well. Would you like to increase your chances of seeing Mount Denali? Reindeer Mountain Cabin is all of that and more. Built in the 1974, the cabin has unique carvings at the ends of the roof purlins and on the front porch, with views of Mount Denali and the Talkeetna Range. It is located a beautiful 27 mile drive south of Denali National Park. While a view of Denali can be elusive to summer visitors, at our cabin, you can step out on the porch at any hour to see if the mountain is on display. Reindeer Mountain Cabin is approximately 1200 SF and has two bedrooms, each with one queen size bed. One bedroom has a full en suite bathroom. The second full bathroom has a washer and dryer and is located off of the hallway for ease of access. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, with plenty of seating and views of the Talkeetna Mountains. The kitchen is stocked with basic pantry staples and condiments.The cabin was originally part of Reindeer Mountain Lodge, built in the 70's and ran until the 90's, servicing the workers that built the intertie through our area. After sitting abandoned and full of storage for over a decade, the deteriorating lodge was deconstructed and the cabin was gutted and renovated.
