"I stayed at Windtown Beach Hotel and what stood out most was how well everything is balanced. The hotel itself is calm, green, and very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that never feels busy or chaotic. At the same time, you’re right in the heart of Cumbuco’s kitesurf scene. It’s easy to meet other riders, share sessions, and organize downwinders, and then come back to the hotel to relax by the pool or unwind in the garden. The location works really well: close to restaurants, shops, and bars, but still quiet enough to properly rest. Getting to and from the airport is straightforward, and it’s reassuring to know that medical facilities are nearby as well. A great choice for longer stays if you want reliable wind, a strong kite community, and a hotel that stays peaceful even during the busy season."

"Walking through the gate, you already imagine yourself in an oasis of paradise. I was welcomed very warmly by the team who were also very helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast is very extensive and everything is freshly made by the cooks. The beds are very spacious and the mattresses top quality, which makes you very rested after a long kite session. talk about kiting! You can roll out of bed and kite here. The kite school team led by Gabi and Geovanne are always there for you and guide you in everything. Thank you Gabriela and your great team for an unforgettable stay and great memories. "We stayed here for 10 days and simply cannot say enough good things about the hotel Firstly the staff were all excellent, the girls on the front desk helped us arrange tours and taxis when needed. Check in and check out were faultless The kitchen/bar staff were happy and helpful. The bar service throughout each day was brilliant, always checking whether we needed a drink/food. Speak of which both were excellent and very well priced. The breakfast as already mentioned in other reviews was also very good and catered for all needs with a variety of fresh and cooked options. We stayed in the king suite and we were pleased to have done so, the open air bathroom is very unique and adds to the experience. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided when asked for. For kitesurfing, there is plenty of lockers available for your gear. A compressor is provides to pump kites and a centre is also on hand for equipment/lessons. Would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others. "
