"This is supposed to be the best hotel in Castro. It was fine. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was also fine. Not too many services to offer and location is a walk from restaurants or stores, but again, we were told it was the best that Castro has to offer."

"My family and I stayed in a room on the third floor. It had an excellent view, attentive service, and great care. Every detail is evident in every corner. The common area on the first floor is beautiful, with comfortable sofas and lovely decor, and is also very well heated. The breakfast buffet is very varied and plentiful; you can see the owner's concern. The bed is very comfortable; you sleep very well and it's very quiet. Our next trip to Castro will be a very nice stay, with an excellent price-quality ratio. Our next trip to Castro will be back at Alma Chilota. You can see their concern for the well-being and comfort of their guests. For us, it's a 5-star hostel. It has parking, and the city center and the handicraft market are within walking distance."

"Het hotel is modern. Een gehandicapt kamer. Geen airconditioning. Grote waterdruk op de douche. Bekijk bed. Grote groot flatscreen-tv. OK Ontbijt. Gratis parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad was een beetje wolken, dacht dat het misschien meer chemicaliën nodig had, dus we bleef uit ... Road noise in de nacht is verschrikkelijk. Heb je schermen op ramen nodig om bugs uit te houden."

"Convenient transportation and underground parking. Nearby is the weapons square and the cathedral. The restaurant has a good view. Cost-effective. The nearby functions are good, with catering, cosmeceuticals, and grocery stores."

Palafito Azul Apart Hotel

"Not what we expected, location is good, apartment accommodation has the minimum required for a short stay, lacks kitchen tools, it is impossible to contact reception or find someone afterhours, contact phone posted at the reception never answers. No flexibility for a late check out (1 hour) unless you pay extra. High cost for the value it provides."

"Sizigia is delightful. One of the oldest palafitos in Castro, that has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Everything natural using wood and reclaimed materials. Best breakfast on our trip! The staff are charming and super helpful. It’s a really special spot. Oh and the chocolate and raspberry cake is hmmmmm!!!"
