Hotel Caserta Antica

"Om positief te starten is de omgeving prachtig en zeker de moeite waard. (Unesco) Hotel op zich heeft niets gezellig.. onaangekondigd was er een feest, daardoor was het zwembad gesloten. (Waar we naar uitkeken na een warme dag). De toiletbril stond los en was dringend aan vervanging toe. De douchekraan was afgebroken en het water liep slecht weg. Om af te sluiten hebben we nog even vastgezeten in de lift… Er kon geen lach af van de bediening maar dat was te begrijpen in zo’n somber en met blauw-wit licht voorziene eetruimte.. Achja, de cappuccino was gelukkig lekker."

"Pasquale and mum are real gems. They went out of their way to make us feel special and well looked after. I had forgotten to order gluten free,but Pasquale was magic-they had gluten and lactose free croissants available! We really felt welcomed there,and they didn't blink an eye when we asked for a 6am breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated,the bed very comfy and the whole place is just a short walk from the Reggia,shops and mouth-watering eateries."

"Sometimes the measure of the quality of your stay is how well your host handles an unexpected problem. By this measure, the Caserta Deluxe Bis deserves 5 stars. The morning of our two-day stay, the apartment we had booked lost water service due to a water main break. Michele, our host, was very apologetic and immediately arranged for alternative lodging at his other property, Caserta Deluxe. He secured free parking for us in the very busy area of this other property, drove us to our visit at the Caserta Royal Palace the next day, then walked us to the ticket office. He also moved us to our originally booked flat after the water problem was fixed on day two. After we checked out, he escorted us to the highway to ensure that we got there successfully. Throughout our stay he and his wife provided wonderful recommendations on restaurants and what to see at the palace. Both properties were very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Thanks, Michele, for being a warm and wonderful host!"

"Gentelijk en beschikbaar personeel, kleine maar schone kamers, zeer kleine badkamers, ontbijt in de norm. de kamers met airconditioning en gerenoveerd recentelijk. Ik gaf drie sterren omdat, als op de weg, het is geluid ook met gesloten ramen. "

"Prachtige B&B op de tweede verdieping van een oud gebouw in het hart van Caserta en slechts stappen van Reggie Costello. Liefdevolle eigenaar Anna Maria en Rosa zorgde voor ons zeer goed voor onze ontbijt, die in de kamer werd geserveerd. Zeer moderne en ruime accommodaties en aanbevelingen voor wandelen naar restaurants. We zouden dit zeer goed geëxploiteerde plek zeer aanbevelen (Anna kan een briljante plaats zijn, maar zij is “spot on” en beheert de plek expertiseerbaar) als u de sites van Zuid-Rome bezoekt. Kijk niet verder, want het kan niet beter dan dit krijgen en de prijs/waarde is ongelooflijk. Wij wensen altijd Anna, Rosa en Ivan!"

"Amadeus is a reasonable hotel. The bed slept well and the bathroom was great. Some disadvantages were the mediocre breakfast, the broken smoke detector and the poor isolation (could hear my neighbour on the telephone like he was standing next to me)."
