Econo Lodge Cartersville-Emerson Lake Point

We have spent many, many nights in Choice Hotels, but this was our first experience at an Econo Lodge. We read other reviews, but weren’t sure we believed them. How clean would it really be for $80? What a surprise! It’s a little updated and one of the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in. Many hotels have done away with daily housekeeping, but here you get your bed made, fresh towels, a perfectly clean and bleached bathroom, and the floor swept and mopped. A gentleman was outside everyday picking up any trash, and sweeping the sidewalk and parking lot. The only spot not perfectly clean was the pool. The pump was not on so the water was not circulating. Lots of bugs and debris had settled on the surface overnight. There was no skimmer net to easily clean it ourselves, so we spent some quality time “arm sweeping” stuff toward the skimmer baskets. Speaking of the pool- have you ever stayed at a hotel and just knew (or actually saw) people in the pool were not hotel guests? That won’t happen here. The beds were comfy and the AC was great with the summer heat. Breakfast was a lighter continental style,- bread, mini muffins, instant oatmeal, perfectly ripe bananas, and two types of cold cereal. Breakfast ends at 9:00. By 9:02 everything was put away and cleaned up so don’t take your time getting there. Overall, excellent experience.

I would not normally stay in an economy lodge. I am a boomer and do not write reviews. This place is impeccable. The owner takes pride in every minute detail. Clean, well painted fully functional. Great location. absolutely wonderful. Will recommend.

The pool is not salt water as noted in the amenities and reviews. I called to verify this and the gentleman confirmed - not salt water. No problem, but just wanted to note this for anyone wanting to swim in healthier salt water instead of chlorine.

The room was clean, bed were comfortable and the air conditioning was great. We slept great and the complimentary breakfast was good for us. The check in process was easy and quick, staff were friendly and welcoming. This is my second stay here and I would definitely stay again.

This Econolodge was quite nice with a superb bed, very clean. I loved that there was no carpeting so I could be very assured of the cleanliness. Everything was compact, the room which was nice but all amenities available. The room was spacious enough. Breakfast was adequate and fresh. Again, everything compact but accessible. Again, we had a fantastic night sleep, because of a very, very comfortable bed. The AC/heating unit was up-to-date and easily functional. Love the fresh air coming in through the fan because Cartersville is a pretty clean area. The price was excellent. The person who checked us in, was helpful overall, but neglected to tell me about the ramp to get to our floor so that I didn’t have to use the stairs. Otherwise, all good, and we highly recommend this, Econolodge!

We were driving through and just looking for a place to sleep at a fair price. This hotel was clean and safe. For the price, which includes free breakfast, I honestly don’t know how they can afford to do it. This is not a luxury hotel but the best for a budget hotel!!

EconoLodge was a real treat! The staff was genuinely friendly, the rooms were super clean, and the location was perfect for exploring. It felt like they really cared about making my stay comfortable. If you're looking for an authentic and budget-friendly option, EconoLodge is the way to go. I had a great experience and would definitely choose it again!

Great, as always, clean rooms, affordable rates, great hospitality. We feel it's a safe place to stay. Convention location Breakfast is good, nice to have fresh, hot coffee with leaving the hotel. We will stay there again.
