"Although the desk, facility staff were all exceptional, mgmt team failed to adhere to 5* luxury hotel customer service when the amenities one expects from this type hotel with a premium rate fails to meet normal operating expectations! For example, A/C first night inoperable combined with terrible noise that resulted in no sleep followed up by no water pressure during shower next morning. Despite this fact noted by the repairman the next day, hotel mgmt refused to offer any credible consideration aside from if we returned at a later date “something” may be done! After reading other reviews with similar issues, this appears to be common operating procedures!"

Service is second to none, the room huge and it was a bonus to have an outside area to sit in to have a gin from our own gin station ! Breakfast was excellent, even buffet lovers like us found it pretty good ! Hard to fault and will certainly return if we come back to SA."

"This hotel welcomed us with open arms!!! From the minute we arrived they were very friendly and helpful, check in was so easy a quick. We pre booked dofferent experiences and ended up changing all the times but they did this very easily and still we managed to do everything we wanted to. The resturant staff were super friendly and it was so nice being able to just walk across to eat at night times. It's a very quiet hotel with beautiful surroundings and the rooms are second to none."

"Met drie paar, hebben we gebleven in het Erinvale Estate Hotel en Spa. Specifiek om golf te spelen, omdat het hotel goed gelegen is naast de golfbaan. Dat gezegd hebbende, er zijn meer redenen om te blijven in het Erinvale Estate Hotel. Het is een zeer charmant, zeer goed ingericht hotel, in een moderne, eclectic stijl. Modern, maar nog steeds zeer warm en gezellig. Een prachtig terras om te ontbijten, lunchen of eten te genieten, maar ook binnen, de lobby, bar en restaurant zijn grote en mooie ruimten om enige tijd te vertrekken. Eenmaal binnen, de groene en mooie tuin, omringd door het hoofdgebouw en de kamers zijn dichtbij. De kamers zijn ruime, met een comfortabel bed en een functionele maar goede badkamer met een grote douche. We hielden van onze kamer, en met een klein terras, dicht bij het kleine zwembad. Er is ook een veel groter zwembad, dicht bij het Spa, mooier, maar een paar stappen verder van het hoofdgebouw. Laatst maar niet minder, het was het personeel dat ons verblijf onvergetelijk maakte...! We hebben niet veel geprobeerd en altijd, alles en altijd met een grote glimlach, we voelden ons echt thuis. Wat kan ik nog meer zeggen, genoeg redenen om terug te komen en genieten van deze prachtige, zeer aangename plaats."

We especially appreciated the warm welcome on arrival, with the General Manager personally joining the team to welcome us to the establishment. Our room was comfortable, the service was attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. A perfect choice for a quiet and memorable stay in Cape Town. We would gladly return."

"This is the first hotel I have walked in and just said Wow. It feels more like a home . The staff are amazing the atmosphere is very zen .Normally I'm in a rush to explore the area but this hotel is a place you just want to relax and take in the amazing surroundings It's like being in someone's luxury house. The superb food is cooked in the open planned kitchen in front of you and you eat with the few other people staying in your area. My wife has a number of dietary problems but they did everything they could, to prepare her delicious food. The bed was by far the most comfortable of our trip in SA."
