This lovely guesthouse has everything you could wish for. It’s our second time there and the superb standard has been maintained. It’s so well managed and the standard of housekeeping is impeccable. We hope to return next year for a third visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Paradiso! Melody is the most delightful hostess, taking a genuine interest in us and offering the best of suggestions for a fabulous stay - even arranging for a hike up Table Mountain! The location is perfect for visiting Constantia wineries and Tokai Forest. The pool, breakfast and surroundings were all equally fabulous!

In such a safe and quiet neighborhood, you are welcomed by a lovely and warm hearted host into a lovely homy, comfy and clean suit. You feel at ease and have peace of mind when you decide to stay in all day. It's all just so peaceful and a breath of fresh air.

Mélody is so welcoming, smiling and helpful, it’s just perfect when you travel alone, you feel part of the family. Bedroom is nice and comfortable, breakfast is delicious and the living room is very pleasant. My only regret is that the weather was too cold to let me swim in the pool ✨

Melody has a lovely, cozy place and made me feel so welcome. A quick (and cheap) Uber to all the Constantia wineries and the Kirstenbosch gardens. Never a glitch in power or wifi since they recently installed solar electricity. No amenity is missed and the breakfast was great! I definitely recommend staying here as part of your SA visit.

Melody and her staff could not have done more to make my son and i welcome. the room (room 3) was fabulous with crisp clean linen and the breakfast and general ambience were top notch. Our room was well equipped with Netflix, microwave, tea and coffee and a full size fridge. Parts of the main house were also available for us to use and has a well stocked honesty bar. The pool was spotlessly clean and everything about our trip and stay at Paradiso was great. We will most definitely be back.

We stayed for 16 nights in the self catering accommodation and were extremely impressed by everything. Melody and her staff were excellent, they were very helpful and friendly without being in the least bit intrusive. The bed linen and towels were of a great quality and were changed every few days. The kitchen was well equipped and anything we were short of Melody provided. The grounds were lovely and we were able to find both sunny and shady spots. Everything was of an impeccable standard. Little touches like the fresh flowers were very much appreciated.

Lovely guesthouse, quiet neighbourhood clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good and the hostesses were friendly and helpful. The views over the mountains are spectacular. Only problem is the off street parking, if you have a big car, and the guesthouse is full, it might be a struggle.

This was a lovely return visit after three years. We were made so welcome by Melody and Kim, and were then looked after really well for the rest of our six night stay. Our room was all ready for us when we arrived at 10am after an overnight flight from London so we were able to shower and change soon after arrival. Our room was large and very comfortable with a large firm bed, two easy chairs, two big wardrobes with lots of hangers, a good sized fridge and TV. The ceiling fan provided all necessary cooling. There was a tray for tea and coffee. The bathroom was huge and very well appointed with a large corner bath, separate shower cubicle, bidet, vanity unit and WC. Both the bathroom and bedroom were well lit. The pool was sparklingly clean and very refreshing on hot days. The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained There was secure parking within the electrically operated gates. The whole site is very secure. The breakfasts were excellent with a choice of mueslis, fruit, pastries and bread, fruit juice, and large cooked breakfasts; these were enough to keep us going until dinner! The location is perfect for the Constantia wineries as well as excursions down the Cape peninsula or into Cape Town. It is in a very quiet and peaceful area. We can't wait to return!
