"I vacationed at this beautiful resort in August 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, an infinite number of places to visit are easily reachable (Capalbio, Isola del Giglio and Giannutri, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, Saturnia spa, tarot garden, the archaeological park of Vulci, Talamone, etc.. .) even if you feel like staying in the resort and enjoying the pool. The accommodations are beautiful, spotlessly clean, well furnished and with a splendid veranda. Breakfast is from 10. The staff is perfect, including the owners, and special praise goes to the pizza chef because he is a uniquely friendly person. The food is excellent at the restaurant. "Dit is niet uw typische landelijke hotel het is iets veel persoonlijker en grondiger. Het gebouw ligt in prachtig onderhouden gronden, met oude bomen en manicure tuinen, het bezit een rustige, bijna meditatieve kwaliteit die u aanmoedigt om te trappen en ademen. Het is klein en intim, maar een dozijn kamers die het gevoel van ruimte en privacy toevoegen. We bleven in een van de suites; terwijl niet te blinken, was het schoon, comfortabel en rustig charmant. Ik begrijp dat er plannen zijn voor renovatie, maar eerlijk gezegd voelde de atmosfeer al echt en geraffineerd. Er is een prachtig zwembad en jacuzzi nestled in de bomen, omringd door de natuur. U kunt zeggen dat de gronden ongelooflijk goed onderhouden zijn; oude steenpaden, bloeiende grenzen, hoge cypressen alles creëren een tijdloze Toscaanse setting. Het is waard te noteren dat dit niet een volledige service hotel in de traditionele zin. Naast een mooi ontbijt in het hoofdhuis (wat een echte behandeling was), is er geen restaurant, bar of winkel op het terrein. Maar dat is eigenlijk toegevoegd aan de ervaring. Het moedigde ons echt om geen afleidingen, geen gruwelijke rust te ontspannen. We gingen uit voor eten in de nabijgelegen dorpen, die deel uitmaakten van de charme en het ritme van het verblijf. De eigenaar was absoluut heerlijk warm, welkom, en generos. Ze liet ons thuis voelen en stuurde ons zelfs met huisgemaakte taart. Als je op zoek bent naar een vreedzame terugkeer waar je kunt herverbinden met de natuur, een beetje uit het net komen en genieten van echte gastvrijheid, is Ghiaccio Bosco een echt verborgen juweel."
