The hostel is run by mostly volunteers. Sometimes I feel the place was catered to them and not so much for the guests. While it's not the hostel's fault, it somehow attracts the most inconsiderate guests I've met in my 4 years of travelling. I guess I was just unfortunate. Otherwise the place is clean, the bed frames might need some fixing as the side rail was detached and in the night someone fell off the bed from the upper bunk so it could be a hazard. For its price it's alright, does the job.

We had a corner room on the 17th floor. View is awesome but noise of water leaking from outside the building can be heard from the room and it can be quite irritating at night. As we were only staying for 2 nights stay, we didn’t bother to request for room change. Hotel is just walking distance from the beach and the metro station.

I recently stayed 3 nights at the Grand Josun during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Overall it’s a nice hotel with a good location and great (small) pool (when not busy). Unfortunately a lot of small flaws makes me not recommend the Hotel. Consider everything else to be good to great, here are the caveats you should consider when booking this Hotel. 1) There are only 3 Check-in counters and 3 elevators which both make you que during busy times 2) The shower is located in the bathtub with not enough protection, so the floor gets flooded very easily. 3) The window jalousie from the bathroom towards the main room is very see-through, so your partner can easily see you in the shower or even partly on the toilet. 4) The TV is a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube but everything is in Korean (which is acceptable) but there is also no way (that I found out) to mirror your laptop, the HDMI connector in the wall also doesn’t work. Also you have to pay extra to view basic foreign channels.

The owners were very kind and really nice~~ It was nice to stay overnight, the water was good, it was clean, and the location was good haha. It was great because it was close to Millac The Market and Raw Fish Town. I want to make a reservation again next time~

When you use the basin- risk of water splashing into the bed next to it . Very cramped for 2 adults with luggages to move about . No room types to choose from . We are middle age couple travel with our 2 teenage kids. Our rooms are big and clean that sleep comfortably for 4. There are 2 single bed and a queen bed in our room. Toilet is huge with a big bath tub. The view is stunning in the night and we could view rise rise from our sea view room. Railway station ans subway arw just 5 minutes walk. Famous hot pot HDL are super near by. Will definitely stay in tbis hotel again

You have to walk about 20 minutes from Gwangalli. Other than the location, there wasn't much to regret! I had a reservation for 7 people, and there was free parking for one car per room. Please note that an additional fee of 10,000 won will be charged otherwise. When I told him that I was sorry about cleaning the floor, he said he was kind. He said he pushed the vacuum cleaner.

Gwangalli Beach was just 5 minutes walk away. It was located between fish storage places, Gwangan Land? There was a tambourine and a viking ride. As late as the 2 o'clock, there was a wailing sound. The boss was very kind. I made a reservation for 2 people with a private bathroom, but I had 2 dryer body wash shampoo towels. It was a little hard because the skin was sensitive and it was tickling when lying in bed ... ㅠㅠ

It’s is a great location, walking distance to all the local restaurants. Hotel has views of the bridge and beach. The hotel includes breakfast and you eat overlooking the water. Very nice way to start your day. Hotel is clean and has American style beds. Bathroom has very modern fixtures. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the view over the bridge, the Korean breakfast fare, the staff, the layout of the room and the closeness to Gwangali Beach. And even though the staff was having some difficulty conversing in English, they did their best and found solutions and in the end we were very satisfied with the way we were treated. Really the breakfast was a good start to our day! We didn't like the confusion ensuing between this hotel and another similarly named (The Gray Hotel) when catching a taxi from the train station. The nearest subway station (Gangwan) was quite a way from the hotel (however the area is full of restaurants so it's a nice walk). I didn't like the fact that when I booked it, I gave a card as a guarantee and it was charged before we arrived even though I wanted to pay cash to avoid bank fees.
