I will only give 1 star for this hotel. 0.5 is for the location of the hotel and 0.5 for the cleaniless of the room . However, I do not recommend anyone to book with them. unless you need to ,but be careful. Some people from the reception and also the people who take care of the room service will try to charge more money than what you own them , this happened to me 3 times and when you ask them for what is the extra charge the person don't know what to answer, becomes extremly rude and sarcastic like you are the one to blame which I find it very distrubing. Their is an extremly lack of customer service and some of the employees will behave like you own them something ,or they did you a big favour to let you stay here . Another thing wich I'm not happy about is that the staff is that they will enter in your room even tho you have the sign" please do not distrub" on the door. When I asked if could sit in the hotel lobby at the table to work from my laptop ,the lady said that only if I order something I will be allowed to sit in the Hotel Lobby . I understand some hotels will not offer you the posibility to use their lobby without a consumation so I have order a latte cafee . Please see the picture attached of the joke latte that I have received . This hotel is meant to be a 4 star hotel however the lack of customer service and the state of the hotel is not showing that. Only good thing is that it is clean.

The hotel was among the choices offered by our Romanian tour operator. We read the Trip Advisor reviews prior to deciding for it. The negative ones were mainly for superficial or sketchy negative aspects having nothing to do with the actual quality of the hotel. Its location is great very close to one of the main avenues, close to lots of good restaurants and attractions. The rooms were very clean and comfy. We found the breakfast above the usual 4-star rating, with a good selection of quality food and vegetarian choices as well. A place we would definitely recommend and return to.

We went to this hotel in October 2021. The location is very good,cuz the hotel is placed right in town,very close to the old city centre. The hotel is very quiet,the rooms are clean,but there is always something to improve. As example,we found a water bed smell in our toilet, inventory list was completely wrong,missing stuffs into the room written on it, so it's better to check the list before and report to the reception what is missing,in order to not pay the fee at the end of your journey. Indian receptionist tried to change us euro to lei at 4.50 instead of 4.95 as written on his back board! what a bad move mate! I think that you should be professional and honest with people far away from home,if it is your job and you getting payed by them. The breakfast is quite complete,sweets and salted stuff,but food doesn't invite to you to eat it. Last but not the least, Wi-Fi! We know nowadays how much is important to be connected,especially if you are abroad. It never worked for 4days of my stay even if I reported the problem to the reception several times. They always had an excuse to shut me up. What I really appreciate was the night receptionist DORU,it was very helpfully and really care about guests. Are we going back to it again? Mmm..I'm not sure.

In a nice area, staff was friendly, rooms clean and breakfast was very tasty. Some paint was chipping off of the bathroom ceiling. Very close to the tourist areas. In conclusion, would definitely come here again and visit this wonderful city.

Just returned from 3 nights here. Location is good, about 10 mins walk from the Metro, maybe 20 to the Old Town. Decent craft beer place close by. Entrance is unusual, you go down stairs into a very dimly lit lobby area. The reception is a tiny glass booth like you see in a car-park or something. Very abrupt staff member checked me in. When I first entered the room the smell hit me immediately. Like a spicy sour milk (not the usual methylated spirits damp type smell). Not sure what's causing that, maybe there is indeed dampness and it just happened to smell that way. Of course, you get used to it after a few mins...but it hits you every time. Other than that, the room was ok, nice and warm (had aircon that I never switched on). I'd booked a single, and this one had 2 single beds, a fridge (unplugged for some reason), Nespresso style coffee machine and 2 bottles of water - which was refreshed daily. The huge plus is a proper Samsung smart TV with YouTube etc. Very few hotels I've stayed at have this, almost worth an extra point just for this. Breakfast was included - plenty of tables, and a changing seemingly random selection of food. Sometimes lukewarm however. Coffee was great from the touch screen machines.. Big minus for having keycards that only last 24 hours, so every evening I'd go to the room, find it didn't work, and have to traipse back down to get a replacement or a refresh (with grumpy service). So overall, not bad, but I'd probably try somewhere else if I visit Bucharest again.

The Hotel is easy to find but being visually impaired, front access to reception was a little difficult to negotiate. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful with English being spoken at all times. The National Gallery was a 6 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent and we would most certainly stay there again.

Several staff members were very rude especially some at reception but also others. The safe didn’t work and the person who came to our room started yelling at us that we were not operating it correctly; he finally agreed that it was broken and said someone would come tomorrow to fix it but no one ever came. I told reception that two hallway lights were out and that it was completely dark in front of our door; for some reason he started yelling at me in poor English that I couldn’t understand. I also told the housekeeping supervisor and she said that wasn’t her job. The lights were never fixed. I tried to pay for laundry at reception and the woman started yelling at me that this was the wrong time; later this same woman literally started screaming at me when I asked where our laundry was; it apparently was was not her job to know about laundry. I have never experienced anything like this at any other hotel. We were with a group from the United States; maybe they don’t like Americans.
