Geen luxe resort, maar het zeer vriendelijke en goed Engelssprekende personeel heeft ons enorm geholpen! Je kunt er motoren huren en krijgt tips voor leuke plekken. Ideaal voor familie en vrienden. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug.

We liked the hotel in general. The receptionist is friendly. Breakfast is the same every day: eggs, bacon, fruit, juice, toast, meatball and mushroom soup, cornflakes, yogurt. Tea and coffee from bags. The bed mattress is hard, the pillows are uncomfortable, but the children do not notice this, they slept well. The room has a TV (not smart), a hair dryer, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a fan. You can hang your clothes on hangers. There was no soap in the bathroom. It is a 5-minute walk to the market near the temple and from there you can take tuk-tuks to the beaches. The beach near the hotel is not for swimming. The hotel can rent motorbikes, and if you book a room directly with them, they give you one for free. On the second floor there is an open area with sun loungers, a beautiful view opens up. If I go to this island a second time, I will take a closer look at other hotels for this price. It would be great if there was a pool, at least a small one. On the day of departure, a free transfer to the pier is organized. Thank you very much!

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are several issues with the management system that need improvement. First, regarding room cleaning procedures: at most hotels and accommodations, the front desk keeps a spare key or key card so housekeeping can access rooms for cleaning when guests are out. At this property, guests are required to hang their room key outside the door until housekeeping finishes cleaning, sometimes as late as 2:00 PM. This is a serious security concern because anyone could potentially access the room while the key is left unattended outside. Second, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay with good soundproofing, this hotel may not be the best choice. Noise from outside the room is easily heard throughout the day and night. Last night, shortly after midnight, I was awakened by a very loud group of people. When I went outside to investigate, I saw a group of guests drinking in the restaurant area located directly next to my room. The noise was so loud that I could not sleep. I politely asked why the restaurant was still open, as I had been informed during check-in that it closed at 10:00 PM. The guests told me that a staff member had opened the restaurant for them. I then politely asked them to lower their voices because my room was right next to the restaurant. I do not blame the guests at all. The responsibility lies with the hotel staff, who allowed the restaurant to be used after midnight despite the clearly stated closing time of 10:00 PM. Areas for improvement: 1. Guest safety and security — Guests should not be required to leave their room keys hanging outside their doors for housekeeping. 2. Enforcement of hotel policies — If the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, that rule should be consistently followed. Future guests staying in rooms near the restaurant should not have to endure loud noise until 1:00 or 2:00 AM as I did. Overall, the hotel has potential, but better management and stricter adherence to its own policies would greatly improve the guest experience.

Well what a place , excellent , on arrival a very warm welcome from the owner/manager and we were early but room was ready and happy for us to check in , they offer tea, coffee and noodles for free 😊 The room was perfect and probably the best bed we had slept in for 20days , fridge full of things that you can drink and pay for at end of your stay We then took a walk but with not a great foot from a injury we soon seeked for a scooter and the owner let us rent his at 250bht each so we had 1 each . Best thing we did was getting a scooter its only way to see this island and we only had 1 night. There are a lot of places to rent scooters but if you can deal with the 3min walk from the pier to this place I would you hang on so to give them the revenue The island is lovely , places to sea , seafood buffets at a low cost and I mean bargains I just wish we had longer I think I could of done a week lol Thanks from Dan and Bon

I stayed here for two nights and woke up on my birthday while looking at a beautiful sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand / Gulf of Siam. We stayed in the Panoramic Double Room, and I think our balcony was about as big as our room! We had great views of the water and mountains, and it was super peaceful. The reservation included breakfast for two, AND we also got a complimentary motor bike (with free gas) during our stay. *** I had read about the motor bikes in other reviews and was skeptical, but our reservation did include the motor bike. (Maybe it depends on which type of room you book). The breakfast was nice, and I could hear birds chirping as I drank my coffee each morning. We took the motor bike to Samae Beach one day, but I made sure we came back to the room before sunset because I knew it would be a beautiful view from our balcony. One night we walked to a nearby restaurant by the water and had dinner. The only down sides were: There were some ants in our room (but that is normal in Thailand), and a nearby club played loud music one night. Overall, I loved the place and would stay there again in the future.

Uitstekend hotel! Modern en schoon. Mooi zwembad. Heerlijk ontbijt! Je kunt een motor huren voor 300 baht. Gratis shuttle naar de pier. Het enige minpuntje: geen ramen die open kunnen; we zijn gewend om met open ramen te slapen. Maar misschien is dit om insecten buiten te houden. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien: strandslippers, een tas, parasols en badjassen. We waren er voor een verjaardagsfeestje en hadden misschien een upgrade of een of andere attentie verwacht, maar helaas niet...

Отель понравился. Находится в уютном месте острова. Со своим пляжем. Конечно со второго этажа вид лучше чем с первого, но в целом очень хорошо и на первом. У отеля есть свой ресторанчик где можно обедать и ужинать. Также есть английский завтрак. На номер предоставляется байк для поездок по острову, что очень удобно. Трансфер от пирса до отеля и обратно предоставляется. При необходимости предоставят дополнительную кровать. Персонал отзывчивый и внимательный. Все наши просьбы выполнялись оперативно.

We booked the hotel for a night as we needed a day of from bkk . The hotel had a pick up service from the pier just give them a call and then there gonna pick u up , when we got to the hotel there informed us the rules the staff was nice and helpful also we could rent a motorbike from them which is 300 thb per day The rooms are acctuly nice but it just open a few months ago the toilets were a bit dirty the showehead was rusted the fridge had a lot of ants .. when we stayed there it was rainy season wich made the alarm set off from the door alll the night wich was very annoying as we couldn sleep at all Breakfast was just a ok couple of eggs and toast and sausage When next morning we’re telling the receptionist all we got was just a sorry for the broken alarm as she say it’s normal cause it’s raining season .. really should improve in that I give it a 4 out of 5

We originally booked 3 nights at Tawaen Beach Resort and ended up extending for another 3 nights — and honestly, that says everything. This is not our first stay. We were here six months ago, stayed in the same resort, and deliberately came back again. Consistency matters, and Tawaen Beach Resort delivers it every single time. The staff are outstanding — professional, genuinely kind, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of from the moment you arrive. The food and coffee pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to neighboring resorts where prices feel exaggerated and borderline absurd. Here, you actually feel you’re getting value without being taken advantage of. Cleanliness deserves special mention. The hygiene standards are truly top-tier resort level — rooms, lobby, common areas — everything is spotless and well maintained. This is something many resorts on the island fail at, even if they look nice on the outside. Location? Simply unbeatable. You step out of the resort and within seconds, you’re standing in front of a magical turquoise-blue sea and perfectly clean, soft white sand — genuinely one of the best beach fronts in Koh Larn. They have beach lounges and chairs where you can relax all day, and the beach staff constantly adjust the umbrellas as the sun moves — a small detail that makes a huge difference. Service is attentive without being intrusive. What truly impressed us: Over the past few weeks, we met multiple couples (not one, not two — FOUR) who stayed at nearby resorts and had nightmare experiences — poor hygiene, bad rooms, disappointing service. After visiting our room, lobby, and seeing the standards at Tawaen Beach Resort, they immediately canceled their bookings and rebooked here. That alone speaks volumes. We live just outside Pattaya and come to Koh Larn almost every month. One thing is absolutely certain: We will never stay anywhere else. Ever. The pricing is very fair, especially compared to the nonsense prices next door that don’t deliver even half the quality. Try this place once — and you’re hooked for life. We proudly consider ourselves lifetime clients. Couldn’t ask for better. Period.

We liked this hotel. We had a rest with family. It was clean. Near the night market, temple, in the center. The pool is good, clean. There was no breakfast. The staff is friendly
