"Very professional hotel and the rooms have a cool layout. I love that the windows actually open so you can get fresh air. The mattresses are very firm (good for your back) but the pillows are kind of weird memory foam blocks, so that was a bit awkward. I put a shirt under one pillow to bring it up to normal height for my neck. They are too low otherwise but stacking two of them is way too much, I would suggest putting a mixture of fluffy normal pillows and these memory foam things. Otherwise the hotel is pretty great, relaxed atmosphere, right on the main street and very close to two different Lawson kombinis, and a Mister Donut is literally right next door and stays open late. So you're in a great spot. You can do anything at R Hotels. I felt really good energy and the staff were super professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip."

"The hotel definitely needs to improve on their cleanliness. There are lashes extension found at the bath tub, sink and around the toilet ( should be from the previous guest)upon check in. Some dirty stains near the window as well. The hotel does not provide room cleaning services ( if I'm not mistaken only for guest staying 4 nights and above). We are staying 2 night, so they only give change of towels which they hang outside the door handle in the morning. You have to place ur own trash outside the room door in the morning urself as well. There is parking available but none of us ( we came with another 2 friends) can park our car as it's only for car height 1.5m below. So we have to park our car at public parking space near hotel that charges 900-1100yen per 24 hours. No proper place for you to stop car and unload your luggage Infront of the hotel as well. It's especially difficult when the road is full with snows as well. The only good thing is the location. Walking distance to a lot restaurant, konbini, and aeon."

One our best hotel in japan! Everything perfect: room spacious ✅, pillow options as your preference available ✅, lounge for chill drink coffee, tea and reading ✅, onsen ✅, vending machine - laundry - ice machine ✅, reception friendly and helpful ✅, location? No complains. Perfect!✅, hotel amenities? No worries! The hotel even providing phone charger if you forget yours! Love!!! 🥰🥰🥰 What else? Location! Say no more! Same building with AEON (have cinema and of course supermarket), restaurant, and JR station itself ✅✅✅✅ definitely stay here again if i’m coming to asahikawa!

We stayed here for 5 nites from 19-24 Dec. Highly recommended to stay here! Hop on airport bus from Haneda T1. It takes 35-40 min. 3 min easy walk direct from JR Asahikawa Station. Lawson convenient stall is right below the hotel, open from 9 am to 10 pm. Duty tax free for purchases 5000 yen and above. Many eatery around the hotel. There is food court at Aeon shopping mall. Visit Japan Tourism Center at JR Asahikawa Station - you can get help to book a tour to Biei. English speaking assistants. Visiting Zoo, Asahikawa Ramen Village, Toikwa park etc, grab a bus guide from JR Asahikawa Station. 7 min walk to the famous Tenkin izakaya bar for dinner. Reservation is recommended! There is a very beautiful park behind JR Asahikawa Station.

We stayed at Dormy Inn Asahikawa and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Asahikawa Station and easy to reach many attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo and the Asahikawa Ramen Village. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Although the size was compact, it was very comfortable and functional The highlight of our stay was the onsen (public bath) on the top floor — perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The free nighttime ramen (Yonaki Soba) was also a great treat before bedtime!

We chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four. The highlight was the in-house ‘onsen’ bath, which we enjoyed without any additional fees. The attentive staff surprised us by clearing the snow off our car after a heavy snowstorm. Senshoen gets my highest recommendation for its service, comfort, and lovely garden.

The hotel has a very immersive experience especially for families with young children. It is themed like the Asahiyama zoo. They also provide free shuttle bus service to the Asahiyama zoo. They have a public bath. Although I did not get to use the facilities, the hotel guests seemed to really enjoy it. It is located near the shopping street and walking distance to the Asahikawa Station. Behind the Asahikawa Station is a beautiful park and you can have lots of instagrammable photos taken there.

I had a very comfortable day, as the mattress was comfortable, even though it was not as firm as I'd like it to be. The pillows provided were not supportive enough, so I asked for extra, and the staff brought it to my room quickly without any fuss. It was good that I could reached my hotel quickly enough after a long day of walking and carrying my heavy shopping bags. The onsen here is a selling point and you must come daily to soothe all your aches and pain.👍 You will sleep so well that you will salivate.😅

Hotel Crescent is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. Very professional and nice staff, even the cleaning people make an effort to manage their noise if they know someone is still sleeping in a room, which is above and beyond. The staff at Crescent kept my luggage for a long time when my return trip got delayed which was a huge relief. The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed. Crescent is just a really friendly place where you don't have to worry about anything. Their website explains their ”Kaizen” philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel. This is the kind of hotel you end up becoming a better person because the staff is so professional and kind. Thank you for a great stay and for being one of my favorite places in Japan :)

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The shower was very good. The location is ok but quite a walk across town from the station. It was too warm, and the air conditioning did not make it cold enough.

You need a car for this location. But, the hotel is awesome especially for kids. They have many play spaces, board games, and breakfast can be taken up in the hallway or brought to the room. Very nice home cooked warm meal, and very friendly kitchen lady. And a very huge room and bath.Love my stay and will recommend this hotel.
